He glanced around, noticing the complete change in scenery. He looked up, seeing green. Green. And lots of green. Heglanced at the pond. "Are we going to feed the ducks?" He looked a little excited. "And I never said drool was a dealbreaker." He scoffed. He looked down at their hands as she pulled away, clearing his throat.

"...Maaaaybeee. Only if you want to." She smiled. "And I DO remember you saying something to me about not liking animals that drool. So, excuse me for trying to accomodate you, your highness." Trix teased, gently touching his wrist as she started to walk along the pond. "Come on." She said, biting her lip and crossing her arms over her chest. Then putting them back at her sides. Then shoving them in her pockets, as though she didn't know what to do with herself. Edited at July 27, 2023 05:29 PM by Widow Valley Farms

He tilted his head as she touched his arm and walked toward the ponds, he followed her for a moment, then glanced around cause be didn't have anything to feed them. He spotted afood dispenser. "Hang on," he jogged toward it, pushing a quarter in. He came back with two handfulls. "Here." He motioned for her to put to hands out and poured half into her hands. He squatted down and sprinkled some out in front of them. Ducks started to swim over.

Trix paused and gave him a quizzical look, until he walked back over with food. "Oh, that... might be useful when feeding ducks." She giggled, taking her half easily. "Thanks." She nodded, sitting down on the ground beside him and gently throwing a bit to the left. A small group of ducks began nibbling at the food, slowly moving closer to them. She beamed down at them as they mindlessly ate the food sprinkled out, others coming behind them. "Ducks. So cute." She whispered softly, afraid to scare them off.

He smiled softly at her and watched them. He threw more down in the water with the ducks, some of them came up into the grass and right up to them. He put his hands down and open, letting them nibble at it in his palms. He smiled quite genuinely at them, a little bit of a smirk.

She sprinkled some closer to her, mimicking him and holding her hands out to them. She sat quite still and held her breath as they advanced and nibbled from her palms. She was practically beaming, her eyes bright as she watched them come closer to her. She looked... younger. Innocent. Sweet. She gave him an excited glance. He looked over at her, the smile keeping his eyes there. In this moment all he could think about was wondering why she wasn't an angel. Her wings may have been black but right then, she looked like an angel. He looked away and at the ducks again, maybe his cheeks were pink maybe they weren't.

She noticed his prolonged glance, looking quickly back at the ducks. One of them clambered gracefully over her leg and sat there to reach the food better. She blinked at it with wide eyes, seeming petrified. The duck, of course, gave no shits, and continued to inhale food from her palm.

He glanced over at her, double taking as she looked completely frozen in terror. He started to chuckle at her, it sounded so deep, slightly unfamiliar. He grinned while he watched her. Ducks still getting at his hands.

She looked over at him and blinked as he chuckled at her, her expression halfway between surprise and petrification. It dimly registered in her mind that was one of the first times she had heard him laugh. She decided almost instantaneously she liked the sound. 'What do I do?' She mouthed quietly, glancing at the duck. Who was still chill as fuck, using her as a perch. Edited at July 29, 2023 01:24 PM by Widow Valley Farms
