Quinn worked fast while Sage was down, trying to tie up his hands and or legs before he got back up

Sage knew he didn't tend to think very much once he got into a brawl. He just sort of...hit stuff. He'd realized that probably wasn't a good idea when the girl completely knocked him over again and he wriggled around on the ground, trying to evade her vines. Eventually, she looped it around one wrist, and after a moment he pretended to resist it more but let her tie his hands together and straddle him before bucking and over turning her in a split second, so now he was kneeling above her, using his tied hands to hold her down by placing the loose ends of the vine over her neck. It wasn't very tight...she could breathe and everything...but she couldn't move much either, with her hands and body pinned underneath him.

Quinn felt a flash of triumph as she tied up his hands, but knew it was too good to be true. She relaxed for a,split second and Sage turned her over, and now she was pinned on the ground with a vine up against her neck and a guy sitting on her! "I'm a horrible fighter." Quinn muttered, rolling her eyes. "Okay you win." She admitted, the sides of her mouth curling up into a smile

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned down at the girl, sliding off of her and working on untying his hands. "Not horrible...you were quite good, actually. I haven't had to use my brain that much since algebra," he hummed in a rather amused manner. Then he huffed and held his still tied up hands out to her, a light flush of embarrassment creeping on his cheeks. "Plus, I can't figure out how to untie this," he admitted with a sheepish chuckle. "I have no idea what you did here, but it's good."

She laughed as his comment. "Thank you. Since I'm smaller, I have to figure out ways to use my brain." She waited for him to untie it, and smirked slightly when he couldn't. "Well thank you again. Another thing I taught myself." Quinn untied it so quickly he didn't even see how. "There. Now we need to do this one more time, but switched. After that one is done, it'll be almost dark. Go, hide. I'll count." Quinn told him, leaning against the tree trunk with her arms crossed and her eyes closed

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "Believe it or not, I'm the same way. I'm just bigger than you," he hummed in an amused manner. He huffed out a kind of snort when she said she'd taught herself the knot and stared at it, rather surprised when she untied it so quickly. He honestly had no idea how she'd done it, and he was pretty impressed. He nodded and sprinted off again when she started counting, dropping onto his hands and feet, careful not to leave footprints as best he could. He went through a lake and swam across instead of taking the long way down, hauling himself into an over hanging branch and shaking there, so there was no sign of much water in the ground. He stayed in the trees for a while before dropping back down again and wandering in any and all directions before slipping into a small cave and hiding in the corner, crouched and ready to fight or flee if need be.

Quinn finished counting and looked around. She tried to see any signs, and, when she couldn't, she called the birds. Where did he leave the clearing?" Quinn asked them. It felt kind of unfair to ask them where he went, so she decided to use her tracking skills and not ask them ungainly until she had to fight. The birds told her, and she slowly started off. She saw a slight scuffle there... the bushes were disturbed there... Quinn was a excellent tracker. When the signs ended she oooked around till she saw a faint glimmer, and went towards it, seeing a lake. She immediately knew he swam across, because that's what any smart person would do. She called a sea creature to come and carry her across so she didn't get wet. (If that's okay) A sea dragon rose from the depths, letting her onto its back and then speeding across the lake. She got off, looking around with her sharp eyes. Finally she saw a couple drips of water on the ground near a tree with a overhanging branch. She peiced it together easily. "So he ran off, swam through the lake, pulled himself, out on this branch, stayed there and shook till he was mostly dry, then what would he do next..." she murmured, looking around. Suddenly she saw a track, then there was another To the right... and one to the left..... and one... everywhere. She followed each trail, getting more and more confused. "And I don't have a good nose to see where he actually left his zigzag!" Quinn rolls her eyesight, looking harder. Finally she found a scrap of fabric on a tree that was apart from all the other tracks, and started following that trail till she's got near a cave. She peered at it, knowing he was inside but also knowing he was stronger than her and she needed to use her brain. Quinn snuck up downwind so he wouldn't scent her and devised a clever plan. She grabbed a couple small branches, weaving the, in and out at the cave entrance. Then she made a hole that looked 'accidental' like she forgot To fill something in. It was just big enough for him to squeeze through. Then she put thin twigs across it, and reinforced the rest so it would take him a minute to tear through it. She weaved some small branches into the hole, but if he was smart, he would see that's where it was thinner because she 'forgot' and left a 'weak spot'. Then, right outside that hole she set a snare like what you would use to catch an animal. He would have to step in it if he came out the hole. She grabbed a tree branch still attached to the limb and pulled and pulled until she got it low enough, then, panting because she really wasn't that strong, she tied it with a fine and put a stone on so that when he stepped out, he would step in the snare, therefore dislodging the stone, therefore letting the branch go. She just hoped he was smart enough to see the branches were thinner there. Then she's moved away silently and made it sound like she just came. She made some noise, and came upwind so he could smell her and get spooked, maybe trying to get out. She knew there was a back entrance to the cave, so she went around that way and entered. "I go to yiu now!" She called, trying to scare him more out the front
