Wither thought for a moment before answering. "Well I'm not from around here," she says, "I come from pretty far away. Where I'm from it's mostly a desert with a few lush areas to graze. I left my birth herd a few years ago actually and have been alone ever since." Edited at March 29, 2023 10:11 PM by Paranormal Pastures

"Wow. You've traveled a long ways." West snorted. "I couldn't imagine living in a desert... it's so hot! There's no water, and not many areas to graze. The sun shines down so hard you start seeing things, which only happens to me after I'm attacked by a cougar and my vision swims." He grinned, tipping his head. "Anyway, you practically know my whole life story. Parents die, I get trapped. I grow stronger. I grow stronger. I grow stronger. I push the rocks out of the way. Tada, we are now in the present." He joked

She giggled some as West summed up his life story before answering his questions. "Well yeah it's hot in the desert, but the nights are pretty cold," she says, "plus as long as you have a coat that can blend in to your surrounding, like mine, then you would be fine. Also yes dehydration was pretty common but then we found out that you could get water from a certain cactus and a few other plants. So as long as you knew what plants had water in them then you would be fine until you find an actual water pool."

West shook his head. "Ya know why it's not a place for me? My life story there: I wake up, get too hot, try to find water but can't remember the right plant, then I die. The end." He snorted. "You should know by now my memory is like... just terrible."

She giggled some and nudged him, "Well if you had me with you then you would be just fine. I have all of the plants still memorized since my mother tested me when I was younger." She noticed as the area became more shaded as they grew closer to a forest. Even though she was used to the hot sun on her back the shade felt nice to Wither.

"I'm glad I live in the mountains." West finished, grinning. He walked into the shade, leaning against a tree and scratching himself. "In the desert, you can't scratch places that are hard to reach because there's no trees!" He joked, rubbing his neck against the rough bark

She giggled some more, "Yeah I guess that's true." She goes over and rubs her neck against a tree to get a scratch. Once done she lowered her head and took a nibble out of the grass below her. Her tail flicked back and forth some as she ate. A squirrel ran up a tree nearby and chittered to another next to it now.

West went over to another lush patch of grass and chewed the sweet smelling plant. He was kind of at a loss of what to do or say...

She grazed happily and glanced over to see what West was doing. She enjoyed hanging out with him and found this adventure quite relaxing and a good way to learn more about each other.

West rolled his shoulders, yawning. He looked at Wither. "Where do you want to go next?" He asked, flicking his tail to swat away some flies
