Louis took his helmet off, and unbuttoned his cloak, discarding them both on the ground beside him. Then, he walked over to Chris, sitting down at the back of the cage. "You and me. Such a pair..." Louis said with a smile. He slouched forward, facing Chris. The rest of the people in the room were already filtering out, and the dark, musty air of the chamber was overwhelming Louis slightly. "I would like to say our friendship was sincere, but..." Louis sighed, turning his head away from Chris. Then in was whisper, he smiled. "And I almost wish it was."

He glanced up and watched as Louis removed the helmet and cloak. Chris eyes them as they landed on the ground but didn't turn to look at Louis as he moved to the back of the cage. Although it did not look like he was listening, Chris was hanging onto every word Louis said. "I could have done something you know," he says quietly, since he didn't want to speak too loud for anyone else to hear and because of the burn, "then we could have started something.." He felt pain as he finished speaking both from his burn and from the idea that there had been something blossoming between them.

Going over to the side of the cage, Louis found the key to the lock. Bending down, he unlocked it and chucked the key to the corner of the room. He then sat down in the middle of the room, waiting.
I wonder if this will work... Louis thought with a sigh.

He heard movement from Louis before hearing a faint click. He looked over at the noise and saw Louis tossing something to the corner of the room before sitting down. Chris's eyes went from the open door to Louis and back and forth. He slowly climbed to his feet, wincing slightly at the pain from the burn, and took a step towards the door. "Is this a trick," he asks Louis, his eyes darting around for other people but found that it was just them.

Keeping his eye on Chris, making sure he made no sudden movements, Louis shook his head. "No. It's not, I promise. Though, if you want to bite me, I honestly wouldn't blame you." Louis said with a feeble laugh. Looking down, Louis leant back and lay on the hard, concrete ground. He looked up at the roof, which was just bare stone, and some wooden rafters. He let his body go relaxed, just laying there.

He kept looking around, still unsure on if there were no traps or tricks. After a few more glances around Chris slowly walked out of the cage and looked around for an entrance, but could not see one. His eyes landed back on Louis as he laid in the middle of the room and slowly approached. The hand opposite to his injured side instinctively went to the wound and held it in pain as he let of a wince. He slowly sat down a body's length away from Louis and began to inspect his burn wound.

Louis sat there patiently, just waiting for Chris to talk, or come closer to him. There was no point in pressuring him to talk, or anything else really. Having a thought, Louis got up, and went over to the corner of the room, where a first aid kit was located. He unhung it from the wall, and gave it a small toss over to Chris. "Here." He said, sitting back down.

Chris flinched as Louis quickly stood up, which was very unlike him, and did so again as the first aid kit slid over beside him. "Thanks," he says and glances at Louis as he removed the rest of the clothing on his upper torso to be able to get to the wound easier, leaving his chest bare. Old scars and burns could be seen along his torso, showing that this was not his first experience with silver. Chris carefully began to tend to his burn, first applying ointment and a few other things before putting a cotton pad on it and wrapping a bandage around that part of the torso to insure it wouldn't move. The burn was already beginning to feel a bit better and only burned now from the ointment and stuff.

Watching Chris, he looked at his many scars and burns and bruises. "What happened there?" He asked quietly, looking down. More in counters with silver maybe? He contemplated the possibility as Chris continued to work on the silver burn, wincing as he put on a bandage. "Do you need any help?" He asked.

"Just from run ins with past humans that didn't like my family," he says as he answers Louis's first question, "most of them are from silver weapons like daggers and a few bullets while the rest are from normal weapons." Chris winces as he tries to wrap the bandage around to back of him but can't move too much from the pain. He was very hesitant on asking for assistance before saying quietly, "Yeah some help would be good.."
