Dakota woke up. She climbed down the hayloft and opened the barn door. She didn't know how long it's been, but Jacob should be back. She opened the barn door and walked outside. She saw Jacob and ran to him. She hugs him and say, "Flame is devestated. He is really mad at you." She paused. Jacob's mom was standing nearby. Dakota looked away. She could tell his mom knew what happened. But, Dakota just thought about what would happen if his dad came.

Jacob turns to her and said " mom this is Dakota the baby that her mom let you hold for a while his mom started to cry and said "I am so sorry he was drunk and I don't know"

Dakota looked up. "I-It's okay." Dakota hugged his mom and started to cry too. "It wasn't his fault. It was mine. He hated Jacob coming over to play with me when we were younger. So he put an end to it." Dakota looked at Jacob and smiled. Although she wasn't actually happy. She told Jacob's mom she could stay for dinner, and so they all went inside to eat.

Jacob said " I am no longer talking to my dad he a idiot " mom laughs and said "he is going to find out that you two are getting married then watch yourself "

Dakota turned to them. "I don't care if he comes. I forgive him." Dakota put her arm around Jacob and smiled. She turned to him, "I know you want him to come. You just won't admit it. I can tell you miss him a little bit." Jacob was just standing there with his head down. "What's wrong? I know somethings wrong."

Jacob said " it nothing I am going to be okay, in not like I want him to come but then I don't want him to be mean I know what he is like"

"You sure? You know you can tell me anything?" Dakota said. She walked back into the barn and went back up to the attic. Dakota sighed. She found an old matress and layed down with her hands behind her head. She looked at the ceiling. Then the barn door opened.

Mom talked with Jacob for a while and dad finally found where they were and drove into the driveway towards the house he didn't see anyone in the house so dad when inside the barn

Dakota thought it was Jacob. "What do you need Jacob?" Dakota asked. No answer. She looked over the edge. It was his dad. She gasped and ran to the corner. He was coming up. She closed her eyes and knew she was next. He walked up to her. She looked up at him. She stood up and ran away shaking. "Jacob! Jacob where are you?! Do you know who's here?"

Jacob father grabs her and puts her on to the wall and said " don't you dare sceam" he voice was ruff because of alcohol Jacob through he heard some be didn't pay attention to it
