Elijah said " I did once but she my ex " mom said " well she could have been yours still and talking about her here she is" Elijah said " what you invited her"

Natalie went red. 'His ex?!' The voice in her head snorted. Natalie stood up straight 'you don't love him anyways' she told herself. She smiled and cooled, looking towards the door.

Ashley walks in and said " hey guy" Elijah rolls his eyes and she smiles at him but he didn't look at her Ashley eyes then landed on Natalie and she said " I don't believe I met you I am Ashley "

"Natalie." She said with a smile, extended in her hand to be shaken.

Ashley smiles but didn't take her hands she turn to Elijah and said " hi Elijah " Elijah didn't say a word only walk out of the room

Natalie frowned at her but smiled again, "excuse me" she said and followed him. When he stopped she put a hand on his back, "are you ok?"

Elijah said " not really my mom makes it a big deal when she around that makes me look bad in my family eyes but I guess you gives a care"

"I do. If she wasn't the girl for you then you where right to leave her in your dust, just like my ex and me. She was toxic and manipulative and shitty in general so I fucked off. You shouldn't be attached just because your family wants you to be." She set down her glass on a table and wrapped her arms around him again.

Elijah sighed and said " it is good you stand up for yourself you need out of there " wraps her arm around her and then said " can you do me a favor be my girlfriend for right now not forever not if you want to be my real girlfriend "
