Caden had drifted off by then.

She couldn't sleep, just not snuggling against him and sitting on the bed

Caden's alarm woke him bright and early at 5:30, the man yawning as he got up and pulled on his boxers, slacks, looped his belt through it's loops, and pulled on a button down for the day, not pulling his suit jacket on yet as he didn't want to accidently spill anything or any messes such as that. He walked downstairs, tripping at the last one before catching himself, wincing slightly from ongrowing soreness he had recently noticed. The man slipped silently into the spacious kitchen, grabbing a RedBull from the fridge and a flask from the cabinet, cracking open the can and slipping the flask into his pocket as he started making breakfast.

Emily came down the stairs in the same outfit as the night prior and kissed his cheek. "Morning. Got work?"

"Yup, most important meeting i've ever had so far. Either my company lives, or I mess up and it dies and so does my wealth and everything along with it so, guess you can say i'm stressing a bit." He added with a fake laugh, fidgeting slightly.

"You'll do great, my love" She said, kissing him and hugging him tight

"I sure hope so," He murmured, letting himself calm in her embrace, noticing a hickey or two on her neck. "Oh damn, when did I put those there? Was that last night?" Caden asked

She shook her head. "Night before"

"Oh yeahhh, yeah it was. I remember now," Caden mused with a chuckle, taking another swig of his drink.
