Sage sort of sighed and nodded. "Now that the excitement is worn off a bit I'm about ready to pass out," he chuckled, moving to change into pajamas and then curl up with her in bed

Amira nodded slightly, turning fully to face their daughter. She sighed with a smile

Sage just grinned at her. He always did like to see her so happy. As much as he liked watching her though, he wound up falling asleep pretty quickly. The excitement of the day had worn him out, he supposed.

Amira soon fell asleep but only lightly. Liz began crying around midnight, making Amira gently wriggle out of Sage's arms and scoop the baby up. "Shh....Don't wake daddy.....Shh..." Amira quietly cooed, walking to the kitchen

Sage stirred slightly when Amira left the bed, but didn't wake sicne she settled the baby down quickly enough.

Once Liz had fallen back asleep, Amira went over and sat on the bed's edge. She watched Liz with an adoring expression and went to lay down again before Liz started crying once more. Amira sighed and scooped the baby up, walking out of the room once more

Sage hadn't even known Amira was up the second time, since she never really fell back asleep. The third time Liz started crying through the night, though, he scooped her up before she would wake Amira up again.

Amira slightly stirred, unable to wake up to thank him

Sage stayed up with the baby, moving down to sit on the couch while he fed her, so he didn't wake Amira. Once the baby fell asleep, he sort of just settled down with her since it was around 7 am by then, so there wasn't much point in going back to bed and possibly waking Amira. He woulnd up falling asleep on the couch though, with her resting on his chest.

Amira woke about an hour after Sage fell asleep, getting up with a tired yawn. She smiled softly when she saw the two on the couch, gently taking Liz and placing her in her crib without waking her
