Sage chuckled softly at her comment, letting her fingers move over his face. He always enjoyed the little touches, he supposed. They were nice. "Well, I made a living off of picking up small details like that," he mused after a moment of thought. "You never had any reason to try," he added with a shrug.

She shrugged, glancing over to check on Liz before back up at him. "And apparently you were very good at it, and guess I never really did have to." Elara mused, gazing back up at him.

Sage grunted in agreement, sort of going quiet after a while, though as it started to get later he did move to help Liz settle down for bed. He didn't want her up too late, and admittedly he was ready for bed himself. It took maybe half an hour or so before she settled down and drifted off, so it didn't take him long to collapse onto the bed with a tired groan after that himself.

|
Elara had already gotten ready for bed, laying down beside him before curling into his side per usual, nuzzling her face into his neck, slipping her eyes shut. "Night, Sage."

|
Sage curled up with her eagerly, letting his face bury into her hair as she settled in, and hummed a soft good night to her in response. It didn't take him long to settle down, his breaths evening out and matching pace with Elaras as they drifted off towards sleep.

Elara grinned as he curled up with her, pulling the covers over the both of them even though, she didn't really need them, Sage was warm enough. Eventually did she slip into sleep, only after making sure everyone was inside and alright. Varys slept curled up infront of the door, guarding or spacing from the rest, it was unclear. Liz was already fast asleep, snoring softly as she glanced over at Sage, noting he had already drifted off before finally allowing herself to rest.

Sage had curled in happily as the covers were drawn over them, relaxing into the warmth they shared together. When he woke the next morning, everything was still quiet in their little cabin, so he was content to just close his eyes again and rest for a while. There was no need to get up quite yet, he supposed.

Varys awoke to the awfully sunny and peaceful morning, the wolf standing and stretching, glancing around before spotting a leftover piece of meat on the counter, snatching it and gobbling it up quickly before trotting over to the door, pushing it open with his nose before slipping out. Elara awoke slowly, keeping her eyes shut as she shifted closer to Sage, having drifted away in sleep, attempting to slip back into sleep.

|
Sage had tightened his hold on Elara when she curled in, though he did look over at the door when it opened. When he noticed it was only varys slipping outside, he relaxed again and nestled his nose back into elaras hair with a soft sigh. No doubt Liz would be awake soon....but until then, he was happy to stay here.

Elara flicked her eyes open when she felt him shift around, her gaze lingering on Sage for a moment before she shifted it away, gazing out the window nearest to them, watching all the dust nodes fly around in the dawn's light. Her gaze switched to Liz watching as the girl shifted, going still once more.
