Kai kept driving for a few hours before stopping at a small-town diner. "Kinda brunchtime I guess, so wanna eat here?"
| |

Lorelei shrugged. "Im not really hungry,"

"Oh, okay" he said softly, turning back onto the road

When she didn't have anymore space on her arm she sighed, putting the pen away and watching out the window as they drove down the roads.

Kai reached behind her seat and grabbed a sketchbook before handing it silently to Lorelei

Lorelei shook her head. "Im fine, thanks though," she murmured. She loved to draw on her body, there was something about drawing on skin she loved.

Kai nodded and setit back down before just staring at the road. He worried for himself and Lorelei, but mostly about his father finding them. He never wanted to see the man again, but the interactions were always inevitable. He wanted to be long gone and off-grid when his father passed so he didn't have a gang on his hands

Lorelei gazed out the windows, watching the landscape fly by as they drove along. Soon it was sunset. "Where are we going?" She asked.
