Quinn was ready to get up, and her brain was already running on full gear. The only thing stopping her at this point was Sage. She cast a side glance at him as he groaned, resisting to roll her eyes and staying still... for the most part. Her eyes were already flitting around and her brain was already planning out what they would do that day. Pack up, hunt, pack the meat, cook it, pack clean water, boil clean water to pack.... everything needed to be done whether Sage was tired or not.

Sage stayed curled up with the girl for a bit longer, though the longer she lay there the tender she got and the more she wiggled around, so eventually he released her and rolled over onto his back with a sigh, rubbing his eyes with a hand he ran down his face. He was definitely still half asleep, but once he ate and got up and moving, he'd be fine. And then they could get ready and get moving, which they definitely needed to do. "You wake up too early," he huffed in mild complaint, opening his eyes to look over at the girl, obviously not very upset about it, since the corner of his mouth was twitching into a slight smile. He sat up with a grunt and reached for their pile of clothes, sorting out his and tossing Quinn hers. They should get going as soon as possible, so dark didn't catch them unprepared.

Quinn let out a very quiet sigh of relief as Sage rolled over. Finally.... she could get up. "You wake up too late." Quinn contradicted, looking back at him with a small chuckle before kicking it into high gear. She hopped up, got dressed, walked outside, started a fire, and boiled some water... then finally felt calm again. -I sat still for waaayyy too long- Quinn thought with a slight smile, rolling her shoulders

Sage huffed out a light breath, though he was really just more amused than anything. He chuckled slightly when he noticed the girl immediately hop up and get moving ....he was much slower getting dressed and wandering down to the fire, where Sahara and Chaos both popped their heads up to snort at him, no doubt teasing him about last night. He threw a curious glance at Quinn, wondering if they'd be nice enough to not mention their...private activities. Though, he didn't care a whole lot.

Quinn looked at Sage as he FINALLY emerged from the cave, offering a smile. "Ah you're finally up Mr. Sleepyhead!" She teased, busying herself with packing some bags. When Quinn heard the snort Sahara gave she cast a glance at the horse, then at Sage as he looked at her questioningly. "Sahara says my new favorite word is finally... just like we finally did something." Quinn answered his gaze with a slight snort, looking at the mare. "And like Sage finally got up, I get it. Let me ask you kindly to please not mention... that." Quinn actually almost smiled, the corner of her lip twitching, then she continued on her task

Sage snorted lightly at the girl's first comment and rolled his eyes slightly when she said what the horse said. "Well I don't see you two doing anything like that," he chirped back to the horse before plopping down next to Quinn. "What's for breakfast," he asked with a slight yawn. (Short, my mom's in a mood and the phone 'is a constant distraction' from my family even tho I've been with them 24/7 for the past twelve days :/ )

(Haha I know the feeling, and that's fine) - Quinn had to resist chuckling at Sage's reaction... but she laughed at his words. Sahara cast a glare at both of them, lifting her elegant head a little. She let out a small nicker, almost like a challenge to Sage. Quinn muffled a snort and glanced at him before speaking the mare's words. "Sahara says... maybe you didn't look hard enough." She announced, taking out some leftover rabbit from who knows where and starting to cook it. "Rabbit." Quinn answered cheerfully

(Lol yeah. I'm in the car with these people a whole twenty hours. I think I can take a few mins to text lol *eye roll*) Sage snorted and rolled his eyes at Sahara's comment, shrugging slightly as he sat down next to Quinn. "Well, we'll see who gets pregnant first then," he chirped, knowing it was really very unlikely for Quinn to not get pregnant after this....but he could still tease the horse. He did like going back and forth between them. He grinned happily when Quinn brought out the rabbit, since he was most definitely hungry. It wasn't much meat, but it would hold him over until he could hunt something. "I'll go hunting after this," he chirped, reaching for the meat. "I can find more than you," he added, tapping his nose lightly, referring to his keen sense of smell.

Quinn looked shocked for a moment, faking anger. "Excuse me sir, don't bet on me and drag me into this battle." She huffed, turning the small amount of meat on the fire. A small smile crept onto Quinn's face at the thought, and she did glance at Sahara to see how the mare would react. Sahara stomped a hoof and pinned her ears... and that showed exactly what Quinn thought the mare would say. "Sahara says game on." Quinn announced with a stifled laugh, continuing to turn the meat slowly

Sage chuckled lightly at Quinn's comment and then rolled his eyes at the mare, though a wide grin crept onto his face. The mare definitely had... personality. It was amusing, really, to mock these sort of fights or arguments, whatever you'd call them, with her. A year ago, he'd never thought he'd be talking to a horse let alone arguing with one like this, but he supposed he also had never thought he'd be out of the castle and married to a wonderful woman like Quinn. So he supposed he should just get used to it all.
