Ethan glanced around, this was a mental game. He was trying to stay upright, and if he thought otherwise he'd topple over. He used the handrail to pull himself up the stairs. He pushed himself flat against the wall as bolts pierced the staircase. Benji used the rail as a help to launch himself at ankles blocking the way. It was like dominos because half the group was on the floor. Rome grabbed a piece of wood that was laying around and started swinging. Ethan shut his eyes a moment, then started up the stairs again. He spotted a loaded crossbow. He picked it up, one of the guards was in Biana's blindspot, he shot the bolt at that man, dropping him. He then broke it, slamming it on some guard's head, pushing himself against a wall now.

Biana span around, flashing Ethan a quick smile and ducking back into the fight. She picked up the same candleholder from earlier and gave one man a concussion with it. Fitz was on some dude's back, slamming him down into the floor. Asta grabbed one man and gave him a vicious slash down his chest. She saw Ethan against a wall, running over to him and dropping a man who was barrelling toward him. Fitz got decked, leaving him with what would surely be a black eye. He fell down onto his back, grabbing a table leg that had been destroyed during the fight and slamming it into the guard who was advancing on him. It was chaos.

Ethan was overwhelmed by all of the action going around. Benji slammed a chair on a man's back and threw him down the staircase. Rome was using the thin edge of the plank to hit heads with, throwing it like a bat. She definitely liked having boots because she was kicking a lot too. As Asta took down a man in front of him, another came to grab Asta. What they didn't know was that Ethan never went anywhere without a knife. Even if he was frisked he'd end up with one somewhere. He grabbed a small one from his boot- it had a sheath built into the boot. He threw it at the man, riiight into his throat. He leaned back onto the wall, grimacing. The numbers of guards were decreasing impressively.

Asta glanced at the man and grabbed Ethan, throwing his arm over her shoulder and hurrying him away from the fight, to the back door the others had entered in. "Just hold on Ethan, Castor is coming. Get on and We'll be right behind you, okay?" She nodded, giving him now time to argue before she ran back into the fray herself. Biana did a graceful sidestep as someone tried to grab her, running to Fitz's side and yanking his hand to get his attention. He turned away from the person he was fighting and Biana shoved him onward down the hall toward Ethan, tapping Benji on the shoulder to try and tell him it was time to flee as well. Asta jammed her knife into a guards throat that was trying to get Rome from behind. "Rome, lets go!" She said, touching her on the shoulder and gesturing toward the hallway they were exiting from. Castor had settled anxiously just outside the door, nosing Ethan in an attempt to encourage him to get on his back.

Ethan nodded, as much as he'd like to admit he didn't need help it was much nicer than doing it on his own. He leaned on the doorframe for a moment. He was unsure if he could even get on but he was going to try, he scratched Castor's nose, then put his right arm up and pulled himself up barely. Benji ducked down, sweeping someone's feet out, then followed Biana. Rome basically threw a man and turned quickly, pushing Asta ahead. Benji was in the back, Rome got on in front of Ethan, he put a hand on her shoulder to keep himself steady. He was feeling fainter by the minute, shutting his eyes to make himself feel less nauseous. It barely helped.

Asta shoved Fitz up and on in front of Rome, and Biana had already gotten on behind Benji. Asta threw herself on, wiggling between Benji and Ethan, tilting her head in concern at him. Castor took off, causing Biana to hold on to Benji for dear life again. Castor hovered above the building for a moment and set it aflame as he soared over it, shrieking angrily. It had made Asta upset, and Asta being upset was NOT okay for him. Castor angled his wings and flew off, away from the main town and away from the house.

Rome put her hand on Ethan's to help hold him, she could feel how loose his grasp was. Benji put his hands on Biana's, quite amused by this, but he felt like he had no time to feel that when he could see Ethan. Who's head was down. Ethan adjusted his shoulder slightly, huffing. The knife had gone right beside his shoulderblade and aimed up slightly. His shoulder had such a deep ache, every breath he took made it hurt more again. His face and his stomach hurt too, his ribs ached, but it paled in comparasin at the moment.

Asta wrapped her arms around Ethans waist gently, more to hold him up than anything else. Biana looked over Benji's shoulder at Ethan, then at her sister. Asta seemed very subdued. Her head was tilted down and she just... looked like someone who was giving up. Biana sighed and bit her lip, settling in quietly. They flew for about 20 minutes, until Castor found a nice place to set them down. It was a larger, nicer cabin than the ones Asta and Ethan usually stayed in, but with the same general vibe. Castor set down, kneeling so it was easier for them to get off.

Ethan had let go of Rome cautiously and leaned onto Asta lightly. Despite it possibly being a bad idea, he fell asleep. His eyes fluttered open as Castor descended and landed. He pulled himself off of Asta with a little help from Rome. He held his breath, wincing as he kept himself upright. Rome slipped off, as did Benji, who helped Biana off. Ethan slid off, landing on his feet. He leaned over a little to work himself up to moving. He winced and started to walk toward the cabin, holding his left arm as still as he could.

Fitz got off to open the door to the house, leading the way in. Biana slipped off of Castor and into Benji's arms, glancing at Asta in concern as she slipped off. Biana looked at Benji sadly and started walking into the house. Asta walked up on Ethans right side, gently inserting herself at his side in case he needed help.
