"He wanted me to feel beautiful, and he did spend a lot of money on some makeup for me, given it's a requirement in some events I do." Lilith explained.

"Okay, pause. What did he say specifically? Because if he told you to put makeup on I will kick his sorry ass so far down this fucking road-"

"No, no! I felt disgusted with how I look without my bruises and scars covered up. He said, if I wanted to, we could get something to help with the pain, cause they hurt too. But, with some events coming up, he bought me some makeup, cause my other makeup got ruined." She explained.

Taylor gave her and Dylan a skeptical look. "Okay..." she said carefully.

"I promise." She assured, holding hands with Dylan.

Taylor nodded. "Oh my gosh, I can't believe Dylan is graduating this year," she gasped. Dylan was the oldest of them all, though a few of their friends were graduating highschool this year as well, but not many. Taylor and Lil were a couple grades younger, so they still had a little to go. "Are you guys gonna go long distance for when he goes to college?"

"I-- what? He's goin' to college?" Lilith asked. "Huh, we haven't discussed that lately. We just go day by day, enjoying our time together."

"Yeah, didn't he tell you? He got accepted into Harvard,"

"Oh... No, he didn't tell me that." Lilith responded. "But, with everything else going on, I'm sure he just forgot."

Taylor nodded, "Oh," she hummed. "Well, do you think you guys are gonna stay together while he's away?"
