Soon enough the rest of the shoot was over, the groups were called together to talk about the next day, and in a matter of around twenty minutes, were finished. Matt made hos way to the changing rooms, keeping his arm around Trixies shoulders almost protectively. "Try not to murder her whilst you get changed. I'll meet you out at the car." He said jokingly, planting a quick kiss on her forehead before slipping into men's changing rooms. It obviously only took him a very small amount of time to change and give the clothes back to the outfit organiser, and he made his way to the car slowly, checking back across the hall for Trixie. In the changing rooms, Ava had kept herself rather quiet considering all the other girls were in there, though her eyes were firmly on Trixie. She only spoke as a couple others left. "I recognise you. Have you modelled before?" she asked, her tone blunt but a little more polite.

Trixie was relieved as the man behind the camera finally began packing up, and they were all free to go. She kept her arm slung around Matt's body since his was draped over her shoulders, keeping herself close at his side. "Mm, I'll do my best. But if I come back with a bloody high heel, I was provoked." She said playfully, leaning forward so he could plant a kiss on her forehead. She went lightly into the changing rooms, pleased as she took the shoes off carefully and slipped out of the dress the same way. She was quick to change, but not quick enough to beat the few girls that left. She had just finished brushing her hair out and fixing her makeup when Ava spoke. Trixie hoisted her bag up on her shoulder, not bothering to look at the other woman. "Why do you care?" She asked bluntly, checking her phone quickly before she tossed it in her bag and checked her hair slightly in the mirror.

Ava stood up from folding her dress, and she slung it over the chair and turned to face Trixie, her eyebrows raised slightly. "Just a harmless question?" She asked, her head tilted ever so slightly. "Anyway I wouldn't be surprised if you had done this before. It seems now, they scout..anyone." She spoke, her tone filled with spite as her eyes ran down Trixies body. She turned to look in the mirror, running her finger through a curl as she carried on speaking. "But that doesn't matter. Gotta be inclusive these days right? I'll see you tomorrow- oh, make sure you bring Matt" she said, giving an obviously fake sweet smile as she brushed past, the dress in hand.

"I don't honestly think you deserve an answer." Trixie said bluntly, fluffing the waves in her hair up gently and then hanging the dress up, placing the shoes beneath it. "Well, at least I was actually picked by a scout and I didn't have to have my daddy buy me into the game. Or maybe you were one of those mistreated pageant kids? Either way." Trixie shrugged, watching Ava observe her through the mirror. "If you want to observe me you can look at the photos." She teased sarcastically. "I will. I'll tell him the dime a dozen slut from aisle seven says hello." She said lightly, checking to make sure she had everything before she left, her mood still quite peppy for some reason. She met Matt at the car, which he was leaning against as he waited for her. She walked straight into his arms, not issuing a greeting before she pulled him into passionate kiss.

"What makes you think I wasn't picked? This is your first day and you're acting as if you're the shit already?" Ava asked, making no attempt to hide the fact she had to go the complete opposite way to Trixie. Instead, she threw the once neatly folded dress at one of the staff, fixing the curl the dress had brushed as she did so. "Oh and for your information, my fathers passed away so no, he didn't." she added, her eye watching over Matt who was parked in the far distance, clearly waiting for Trixie. She wasn't one to get angry at others for insults directed at her, and she instead gave another fake sweet smile, her eyes fixated on Trixie. "Call me whatever you like to your boyfriend, but I don't doubt i'll have him underneath me in a matter of weeks, even days at this rate. If I can sweet talk Diana enough, i'll be permanently paired with him. Good look though" she finished, turning on her heel as they reached the door to head to the office. Matt hadn't seen the two arguing as they walked across the hall, he wa stop bush examining his car, so when Trixie finally reached him and planted a rather passionate kiss onto his lips, he complied though quite surprised. "Haven't killed her yet?" he asked after he pulled away.

"Oh, I don't know. It must be something about that 'I'm a bitch' personality you have going on over there. Makes you seem like an entitled asshole who never had to work for a thing in your life." Trixie said lightly, keeping her light tone of voice and a small smile as they spoke, letting Ava come to her. She apologized to the staff member on Ava's behalf, giving them an apologetic smile as she did so and Ava went on. "Since I have some moral decency, I'll pretend to care. Awh. Sorry. What a shame." She said placatingly, starting her walk to the car easily. "Sorry, but he's not super into being under a mean girl, especially one with the personality of a sixteen year old. Or blondes, actually. More of a redhead-brunette person." She said lightly, continuing on her way. Once he pulled away She let out a small breath. "I'm close. There's still time. Do you wanna know what she said? I think you'll be very amused." She asked lightly.

Matt nodded, proceeding to get into the car before he spoke. "Of course, tell me" he said with a. smile, leaning back against the head seat. His eyes scanned the large glass doors towards the hall, watching people running back and forth like their life depended on it. "And possibly what you said too, it's always interesting to hear" he added playfully, turning his body to look at Trixie. "I just hope you had the common sense not to rise to her actions completely, it'll probably come off badly when we go tomorrow" Matt smiled. Edited at December 1, 2023 09:15 AM by Wayside Wilds

Trixie settled lightly into her seat and shut the door, smiling. She let him finish lightly, grinning. "I don't think I got as angry as I usually do. But we both know my common sense isn't very developed when it comes to rational responses." She chuckled, pausing before she repeated what Ava said. "'I don't doubt I'll have him underneath me in a matter of weeks, even days at this rate. If I can sweet talk Diana enough , I'll be permanently paired with him.' That's what she said. And I said she wasn't your type." She shrugged, grabbing his hand and intertwining their fingers before he started driving. "At least, I don't think. She's not, right?" She asked, the slightest tone of panic in her voice as she looked at him.

Matt listened to Trixie talk, nodding his head in agreement to her first comment. "I'm surprised you know what a rational response is, if i'm honest" He said jokingly, twisting the steering wheel as he left through the white fence gate towards the road. He narrowed his eyes slightly at her explanation, and it took him a little amount of time to fully take in what she said. "What an..interesting girl" he said with a slight sigh, giving Trixie a slight glance at her question and panicked tone. Usually, before he met Trixie, dumb rude blonde girls were exactly the type he would go for- but for a one night stand rather then a long term relationship. "Absolutely not no, and quite frankly i'm offended you would question it" he said with a small laugh. It wasn't exactly a lie, since even meeting Trixie he regretted how stupid he had been to even feel attracted to anyone..blonde. It still sent slight guilt through him to say he wasn't, though. "Now where do you wanna go?" he asked, looking at the road.

"On occasion, I can produce one. It's a once in a lifetime event." Trixie joked, glancing out the window. "That's not what I'd call her, but thanks for trying to insult her, at least." She said playfully, lifting her hand to toy with his hair as he spoke. She didn't, actually, know what his type was. Maybe he was a blonde, blue eyed girl kind of person- in which case she was farther from that than Ava. She let out a slight huff of relief at his answer, leaning her head back against the headrest and watching him. "Well, I've never met one of your exes. How am I supposed to know what your type is? For all I know I could be the odd one out as a brunette." She said sarcastically, curling his hair around her fingers gently. "Don't ask me that- we both know I don't know. Where do you want to go?"
