Once Dakota finished, she went back inside and took Ethan. "I'm gonna put him down for a nap" She said, kissing Ethan's head and walking to the nursery. She successfully put him to sleep after quite a few tries and walked back to Elijah with a sigh. She sat in his lap, feeling tred but content

Elijah stroked her hair, placing kisses to her head

"I love you"

"I love you too"

Dakota smiled and sighed again, tired. "I think I'm gonna go take a nap as well. Join me?" She asked, standing up

Elijah nods, "always" he says scooping her up and walking to the bedroom. He gently placed her down before curling up behind her and pulling the covers to her neck

Dakota smiled and cuddled close to him, feeling quite safe. She slowly felt herself slip into sleep

Elijah closed his eyes, listening to her shallow breath, allowing it to lull him to sleep

After a few hours, Ethan woke and Dakota got up to grab him

Elijah continued to sleep
