Caden leaned back against the couch, his arm casually draped over Rosa’s shoulders. He glanced at the screen, watching as Hank Lawson navigated another high-stakes medical case. A grin tugged at the corner of his lips. Man, this guy's life is unreal. He shook his head slightly, eyes still fixed on the TV. "I could totally do this," he muttered to himself, thinking about the perks of being a private doctor to the elite. His thumb idly traced the fabric of the blanket as he considered it. Yeah, if I ever get the chance to play doctor in a mansion, I might just take it. His fingers brushed a strand of hair from Rosa’s face, but his thoughts stayed on the show.

Caden is stretched out on the couch, the weight of the day finally lifting as he settles into the comfort of the moment. The soft glow from the TV screen casts shadows across the room, but his focus is elsewhere—distant, as though the world outside is still tugging at him. His boots are left by the side of the couch, his jeans well-worn and comfortable after a long day in the field. He shifts slightly, stretching out his legs, as the episode of Royal Pains continues in the background, but he’s hardly watching it. His mind drifts back to the days he spends out in the wilderness, patrolling the park, keeping watch over the land, and handling whatever nature throws at him. He’s gotten used to the rhythm of the job—the solitude of the trails, the quiet moments under the canopy of trees, and the sudden bursts of action when something goes wrong. He’s trained for emergencies, learned survival tactics, and has seen more than his fair share of injuries, some minor, some serious. But in the end, he knows he’s not a doctor. He’s something else entirely, and that’s always been enough. The room is peaceful, the only sound the quiet murmur of the show, and Caden lets himself relax. His hand rests lightly on the back of the couch, and his fingers brush against the fabric as he glances over at the window, the fading daylight casting long shadows outside. For a moment, his mind clears, and he lets go of the thoughts that always seem to cling to him—the responsibilities, the concerns, the constant pull of his duties. He stills for a moment, opening his mouth to speak. "Well,no.Im a ranger Rosa, not a doctor." He says with a scoff. Here, in the soft stillness of the evening, none of that matters. He’s simply here. With her. That’s enough for now.
