Aria helped calm Caroline down and then put her to bed after giving her a small smoothie for dinner. Aria sighed and walked into her bedroom, flopping down on the bed. She missed Sage so much, it hurt to say his name. The girl knew it was her fault.

Sage sort of lay there for a while before deciding he may as well keep himself busy and not just be laying around when the new queen came back...she got mad about that sort of thing. So he padded over to his desk with a yawn, starting to write. She came back soon enough, and said something he sort of grunted in response to since he was working. She quickly crossed the room and spun his chair around, grabbing his chin tight enough to leave bruises on his face and repeated her comment with a hiss. He actually responded this time ...he wanted her off of him. He turned back to his work with a shudder once she released him, but he could feel her piercing gaze on his back.

Aria couldn't stop thinking about Sage. She didn't think she would fall asleep any time soon. The girl thought back to when she first met Sage. They went on a so-called "date" at a cafe and had many, many crazy adventures together. How could Sage have forgotten? She promised to love him from the start... did he not trust what she had said?

Sage kept working, or at least trying to...his thoughts kept drifting back to aria, and how wonderful their time together had been. It wasn't like this. She wasn't like this. He felt awful for making her feel as though she had to leave...but why hadn't she told him? He could have tried to change. Eventually, his new wife dragged him off to bed though, and he eventually passed out. He never slept much anymore, so when he did he was out like a light.

Aria stared blankly at the ceiling as she laid in bed. Thoughts and memories swarmed her brain. Sure... this would be so, so hard on her and the kids for awhile, but maybe Sage needed this 'new wife' instead. The girl sighed softly and eventually fell asleep. She felt as if she hadn't slept in a decade or so. Aria knew Sage was the one for her from the day she saw him. Did he really not want her back?

Sage slept rather well, u til something just felt...off. he woke up, and then sat up when he noticed the new queen wasn't still in bed. It was the middle of the night...she never got up. He jumped then thunder suddenly boomed outside his window, and then sighed. Maybe it was just the storm. but no... Something wasn't right. He got out of bed to look around, only to hear a scuffle and turn to see the new queen raise a life and sent it towards him. He let out a yelp when he felt the blade hit his side, though he twisted away and scrambles out the door, running. He wasn't sure where he was going...it was pouring and storming out....but he had to get away from her.

Aria awoke to the sound of thunder. It was storming out... again. All she could think about was Sage. He hated storms. She wanted to go help him, but knew the new queen wouldn't appreciate her coming. The girl just sighed, and looked out the window, pulling her knees close to her chest.

Sage could heard the whole castle in a clammor, no doubt looking for him, but he heard the queen's shrill voice, and he knew if they found him, they certainly wouldn't be helping him. He growled in frustration and took off again, though he didn't stop to think about where he was going for a while...it was only once his legs refused to run anymore and he collapsed against a tree did he look around. He was in the woods behind Aria's new house...why had he come here? He didn't even know if she could help him. Or if she'd want to. But....looking down at his still heavily bleeding side mixing in with the mud around him and then up at the storm above him, he supposed this was his best shot, so he forced himself up to her door, legs trembling and bretah coming in ragged gasps so he could knock quietly on the door.

Aria heard something knocking against the door. She hurried over as quickly as she could, opening the door to see Sage. At first she turned back around and shut the door. What was she doing? Why had he come back? The girl just shook her head and swung the door open. "Hello?" She said, looking down at the boy. When she noticed he was bleeding heavily, she helped him up and took him inside to the couch. The girl helped in lay down, and went to get something to help. She knew he would pass out soon, so she just started stitching up his cut. He probably wouldn't care that much, as he was just focused on the pain.

When the girl first closed the door on him, he sort of just sighed and turned to leave, but then she'd opened the door again and had ushered him inside. "Sorry...I just didn't know where else to go...the whole castle's gone crazy," he wheezed, sort of trying to explain to her why he'd suddently shown up at her doorstep. And was probably now ruining her couch. And possibly her floor too, considering he was soaking wet. He barely noticed when she started stitching him up...he was just trying not to pass out. Once she was done he'd leave...go somewhere...he just didn't want to burden her more than he already was.
