Jacob text her back and told her good injoy your day but just to let you know there is a shooting going on now

Dakota looked at her phone. The text from Jacob appeared. She glanced across the screen. "Oh no." She whispered, dropping her phone in the tall beach grass. She got Athena and galloped towards home. Dakota put Athena in the pasture along with Caspian and Smoke. She paced the porch waiting to hear from Jacob about the shooting. She thought, 'What if he gets hurt?' Thoughts rushed through her head at a million miles an hour. Dakota couldn't think straight.

Jacob talks to other guys to see why this started but soon they figured it out and know they are trying to see how they could get him

Dakota sat down on the porch step. She put her head to her knees. Dakota knew this happened to police officers, but she couldn't let him die.

Jacob and the other police officers had to wait for a while so Jacob texted her told her he was fine still but you don't need to worry

"Still?! No, no, no..." Dakota went to the barn and walked to the stairs. She was getting really dizzy. Before it got worse, she texted Jacob. It said 'I love you. Be sa-' And that's when she collapsed and accidentally hit the send button.

Jacob looks at his text before texting and it said ' honey you okay ' then he when back to his work and they finally got him to give up Jacob got back to the police station

Athena whinnied and nudged Dakota. No response. Athena broke free and found Jacob. She reared and ran back towards the barn.

Jacob jumps on to his horse and gallops home and ran in side the barn and towards Dakota

Athena reared and pointed her hoof towards Dakota. She nickered and nuzzled her.
