Sage flopped down onto the couch with a weary huff of air and nodded in response to Max's suggestion. "I think a nap would be lovely," he chuckled. Then he groaned slightly. "I'm getting old," he groaned with a slight chuckle, falling over onto his side rather dramatically. He really wasn't, he was really just barely an adult, but it certainly sometimes felt like he was an old man, especially when Charlie was so hyper. He loved the girl though, so it was alright. |

Maxine giggled "Aw poor you." she said sarcastically with a chuckle "Nah you just get a whole lot tired more easily... kinda part of having a wife and kid..." she giggled "You sure you want two of them running around ol'man?" she teased softly. |

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "At least I have a house now," he hummed. Then he grinned sheepishly. "Yeah...I do...might not be the wisest thing I've ever wanted but I don't particularly care," he hummed. |

Maxine giggled "Me either... it's too much fun trying." She teased playfully before she drifted off to sleep. When she woke up next she got up checked in with her father before she made the two of them dinner and started running a bath for the two of them while she waited for Sage to wake up. |

Sage chuckled and grinned over at her tiredly. "Glad you like it that much," he told her in an amused manner....mostly because he liked it too. He was more than happy to nap for quite some time....though when he woke up and smelled dinner and heard the water running, he was up pretty much right away. He wandered into the kitchen and came up behind Max, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin lightly on her shoulder. "Looks yummy babe," he hummed, still a bit asleep but waking up. |

Maxine chuckled when she felt his arms around her "It's just spaghetti..." She chuckled "But thank you." She said happily "Something quick and easy." She shrugged "I figured I should save my energy." She teased kissing his cheek. |

Sage chuckled lightly and grinned over at the girl. "Yeah, but anything you make is yummy," he chuckled. Then he gave her a wide smirk. "You'd better. I'm expecting a good reward, ya know," he hummed. It was really all just a slight tease, and a bit of a joke...he'd enjoy anything the girl gave him and she knew it....but either way he was excited. |

"Nevermind the fact that you're biased I appreciate the complement nonetheless." She giggled handing him a plate "Don't I always give you great rewards?" She teased playfully kissing his cheek as she dished out a plate of her own. |

Sage chuckled and nodded with a grin, unwrapping himself from his wife to get his plate of food and sit down at the table. "Of course you do," he giggled. "But maybe add a good shoulder rub into this one after you beat me up," he hummed in a rather amused tone. Really, shoulder rubs just felt nice, so he'd steal one any time he could, and that was just a good excuse. |

Maxine chuckled "Anything you want... you arranged this whole trip... this is the least I could do..." She said happily "Just name it." She assured him "Within reason..." She added with a chuckle. |
