Sage snickered softly at her surprise. "Elara, my job has been to sneak in and kill people for years. That included kings," he noted. Though when she asked if he was in there he shook his head. "Nah," he noted. "I just wanted to snag a few jewels or coins....didn't need him to be there." In fact, he didn't want anyone in the room. Not for that.

She sighed, shaking her head lightly. "You should've killed him when you had the chance, would've done many people a big favor." Elara murmured, remembering the time she'd tried to poison his tea... only for it to get drunk by one of the jesters, the man dying on the spot as she watched in horror. But oh well, mistakes happen. Sage hummed softly with a nod, thinking back to that night. It would have been easy to do, he supposed, but he'd held back for a reason. "Your brother wouldn't have been old enough to take the throne yet," he noted. "I'm afraid it would have caused even more issues had I done it then." Then he chuckled. "Though if it would help Nate out, I'm not opposed to finishing the job now," he added.

She nodded, a soft sigh of relief exiting her when he said he wouldn't mind doing so now. "Good, because sometime in the near future i'm going back, they can learn what it's like to have no choice for once." Elara muttered.

Sage nodded as she spoke, grunting softly. "If you want him gone, and want to go back and be safe, I'll come with. Liz can stay somewhere for a few days while it all happens, then we can get her and we can all stay there peacefully," he noted, placing a steady hand on her shoulder. "I can take care of your father and the nobles loyal to him....but be sure you and Nate really want someone dead before you give the order," he added. He was a bit nervous that she said she wanted her father dead but if it actually happened she'd hate him for it after. Or hate herself.

Elara pressed a finger to his lips when he started talking about how her and Nate needed to be sure before giving the order, the woman just smiling politely. "Now see, i'm very very sure about it. Nate. . . is probably about seventy percent there, mainly because he's fearful he'll be punished for wanting him dead. Other than that, I do look forward to that day, though we must spare my mother, she was just married into that mess of a man." She explained, removing her finger.

Sage felt his cheeks heat up slightly when she pressed her finger to his lips, though it was pretty effective at shutting him up, he could admit that. He nodded when she mentioned sparing her mother, offering her a small smile. "If you could get her somewhere safe the night I do it, that would negate her being blamed. If Nate gets hurt in the attack, that would be the best defense for him as well...we can mock fight once my targets are gone," he added, mind already working at the details.

Elara nodded in response, seeing his cheeks redden and smiling just slightly, listening to his plan. "Sounds good, I can't remember if it'll be Devan or Nate who are next in line for the throne, but I do believe it's Devan. Getting Nate hurt would take the blame off him, resulting in the people we want hurt, hurt. And the ones's we don't just fine."

Sage nodded along with a hum. "If you can get in contact with them, figure out when they want it to happen ...we can figure out a plan," he noted. Admittedly, he was rather excited to be back in the game a little bit. He did like the way a fight got his blood boiling. Plus he was helping Elara....and that was always a good thing.

She nodded, agreeing with his plan as she leaned her elbows back against the counter. "I'll find my people and get the message spread to Nate, he'll get something back to me, then we'll strike." Elara pulled away, pecking Sage's cheek as she did. "Thank you, Sage."
