Jacob smiles and said "well I got to take this guy back but I'll ride one our other horses"

"Okay. Love you!" Dakota smiled and went to the barn. Athena nickered and nuzzled Dakota's hand. "Wanna go for a ride girl?" Athena neighed and shook her mane.

Jacob grabs one of the other horses and trots back to the police station

Dakota got Athena all tacked up, and she took her out to the field. Her and Jacob's field. They rode around and went to the beach. No one ever went there, except Dakota. That's where she went after she left the orphanage. They rode at the water's edge and watched the sunrise. Athena stopped and let Dakota think. This was the beach her and Jacob would play at when they were kids.

Jacob hands him back and said "thanks man" the guy nods and then gets off of his horse

Dakota watched the waves rush to Athena's legs. She hopped off and sat in the warm sand. Athena nuzzled her and watched the water.

Jacob trots off to a case down the road to a bad part of town

The wind blew softly through Dakota's hair. She looked down and played with the sand. Athena grazed off a patch of grass.

Jacob had one that was gun firing and dangerous for cops

Dakota closed her eyes and laid on her back. She grinned and watched the clouds go by. She texted Jacob where she was and knew he would find her.
