(Yeah I got a bit of a scare then aha) Anya looked at Luther with a slight pout as she thought about an excuse for her tiredness. "Sage and I went for a walk late last night- I guess the excitement of the day was just too much for us to sleep. We got a little lost, so ended up staying out wayy longer than we had intended. Right, Sage?" She asked with a light chuckle before looking his way. She watched the guards for a moment, each of them looking rather bored. They'd probably have done the same drill for the last few hours until it was ingrained into their heads... like it'd become muscle memory at this point. She looked to Sage when he mentioned their muscles being bigger than their brains. "I mean, muscles are alright with me..." she purred teasingly, sitting and watching with a slightly more dreamy look put on her face. It really didn't make much of a difference, but she saw a space to make a joke, a bad one, admittedly, but a joke nonetheless. His little comment about not using their fight style unless he wanted to die did make her heart ache just a little... and she could only get that across to him by furrowing her brows and shaking her head a little. She knew he wasn't thinking like that anymore, but the idea of him ever thinking like that was still a lot to carry. Luther gave a soft nod and a half, humorless chuckle at the bad dad joke before looking to Sage. "She's done this for years. She's more than happy to dish it out, but she can never take it, can you?" He joked lightly. He didn't notice when a messy snowball was thrown, but he for sure noticed when one had been sent right back towards the small group... mainly because it had served, or whoever threw it had bad aim and it had gotten him on the shoulder. He slowly looked to Sage and then Anya, who was snickering with her hand over her mouth. The man said nothing, just turned his head slowly, and met the instructor's eyes with fire in his own. The trainer cowered a little, but Luther just kind of scooped a lump of snow up, patted it down a little, and threw it full pelt at him. It was a shame really because the amount of effort that went into that throw had all gone to waste... mainly because it hit one of the guards on the shoulder, knocking him back a little. Luther could only laugh though, despite sort of embarrassing himself with his more than shit aim.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "We got distracted running around like wild banshees," he admitted, playing along with Anyas excuse. Sage felt a grin form in his face when Luther mentioned Anya making bad jokes but not being able to take it. "Well, that just gives us leeway to tease now, doesn't it," he chirped before scooping up another snowball and sending it at the instructor. This one hit him square in the forehead, and sage snickered when the man practically exploded with fury. Causing this kind of trouble was fun, and the guards seemed to agree with him...they were throwing snowballs at eachother now too.
