Matt pulled the car up outside the building for the modelling agency, looking up at the large white building in front of them. Strangely he was a lot less nervous than he thought he would be, but he wasn't sure if he could say the same for Trixie. He turned to look at her with a smile, pushing the button to turn the car off. "You ready?" he asked, taking a hand through his hair. His gaze turned to the time on the screen, and he felt a little relief. They had around twenty minutes or so until everything actually started, so they could at least calm each others nerves if needed. He got out the car and made his way toward the entrance, making sure Trixie was following before heading inside. It took about five or so minutes for someone to be found to lead them to the photography hall, but once they were, it was a completely different atmosphere. The hall was large, airy and quite busy with different groups doing different things. Everyone was focused on themselves and their little groups rather than people entering, and as a rather tall, rich looking woman headed towards Matt and Trixie, he felt a lot calmer. She held her hand out for a handshake to them both, proceeding to introducing herself. "Diana, Diana Mason" she said, her accent very thick by means of being posh. - should we implement Ava in? the girl that, when they were back in the dreamland typa place, was basically just a massive bitch in the modelling thing? or would that be too much of a coincidence) Edited at November 25, 2023 08:09 AM by Wayside Wilds

We can add her in, yeah. I don't think it'd be too much of a coincidence)) Trixie was practically... a nervous wreck, in all honesty. She couldn't tell if she wanted to laugh or hurl, at the moment. When he spoke, she offered him a faint smile in turn. "No. But I'm never gonna be, so." She shrugged lightly, hopping out. She was mainly stuck to his side, her fingers intertwined with his as they walked. At least holding his hand gave her some sort of lifeline. She looked around, almost in shock, as they entered the photography hall, seeming very interested in everything going on. As the woman approached, Trixie gave a firm handshake in turn. "Nice to meet you. Beatrice Hunt." She said lightly, glancing at Matt with the same nervous energy as before.

"You'll be okay" Matt said in a low whisper, doing his best to transfer the rare confidence onto Trixie somehow. As they stood and listened to Diana explain the place, he frowned, staring around af the place. All she had explained was what they were supposed to do- photos, break, lecture, photos, break. Nearly every day. As tedious as it sounded, the money was 100% worth it in his opinion. He watched as Diana gave a soft smile in Trixies direction, looking her up and down. "How do you feel about being split up? Paired with other people?" she asked, the question not directing Natt at all, and instead Trixie. - i'll do that at some point then)

"Debateable." Trixie answered under her breath. She was intent on Diana as she continued to explain, keeping her hand firmly interlocked with Matt's. She didn't mind the routine- she would be with Matt, so it couldn't be all that boring. As Diana's attention shifted specifically to her, she shifted subtly closer to Matt, almost like a child. She blinked at the question, glancing at Matt and hesitating before she answered. "Not good. I'd rather we... weren't split up, if at all possible. But I mean, if we have to be, that's- If it's nescessary, then- it's fine, I guess." She said quietly, giving his hand a gentle squeeze.

Diana blinked in thought, staring at the two. To her, the girl seemed almost scared to leave Matts side, which Matt felt was the same. He watched as she nodded and wrote down a few things, then gestured towards the edge of the stage. "I'll see what I can do. If you just head over there, where those two are then i'll come and see you in about ten minutes" She spoke, then wandered away giving them no time to speak. Matt averted his gaze to the two people she had pointed to- a tall, rather pretty blonde girl accompanied by another taller black haired man. As they nearer, the man turned round with a smile, looking at them both. "You're the new people? I'm Bolton, this is Ava" he said straight away.

Trixie glanced behind her anxiously at Diana's response, like she would be perfectly happy to run away at that moment. She gave a faint nod at the directions, frowning and looking at 'those two'. She kept a hold of Matt's hand, giving a nod and a nervous smile at the introduction. She glanced at Matt, then spoke. "I'm Trixie. This is Matt." She said lightly.

Matts eyes lingered on Ava for a little too long not because he in any way found her attractive, but because he had the same strange wave of feelings that he recognised her, that he'd seen her before. He let them explain what they were doing- simply just running over schedules until break, then different casting photos after that. He sat and listened with Trixie, though his gaze kept averting to Ava. He could only hope Trixie also recognised her, it would make him seem less crazy. After break the casting photos were nearing, and he watched as Bolton spoke, waving his hand around in gestures as he did so. "I think you'll both be paired with each other for the casting photos. You just have to copy our positions, do exactly the same thing. Don't worry about it" was nearly all he said.

As Trixie finally found the nerve to actually observe the two figures before her, her gaze lingered on Ava. A slight feeling of recognition. Like they might have been... acquainted before. She glanced at Matt and found him observing Ava, which caused her to frown slightly as she listened. A slight feeling of envy started to build, being someone as... insecure as she was, especially when every time she looked over, Matt's gaze was almost always on Ava. She gave a bland nod when Bolton spoke, staring at her hands in somewhat dejected silence. It felt as though most things weren't going very... right.
