Sage chuckled softly and shook his head with a hum. "The doctor swears by it," he chuckled, thinking back to the old man. "He's doing something right if he's still around," he added, referencing the man's age. He really never did seem to age. He'd known him forever and he hadn't seen really any sign of aging. "Maybe he's not human," he joked lightly, sort of just nodding along as Mari spoke. "I suppose it won't make much of a difference," he noted. "I guess I'll just have to keep loving you despite your ungodly opinions about coffee," he added, snorting softly. He was clearly teasing ...he wasn't going to stop loving her because she didn't like coffee. So they could joke.

Mari felt a small smile prick up at the corners of her lips, and gave a slight chuckle. "The doctor? Oh, no, he'd definitely not a human. Well... he may be a magic man or something," she murmured softly. She couldn't exactly remember the first time she'd met the man, but she remembered him just the same as she did now. He'd was going to live forever. She shifted to look up at him after a moment, kind of giving him a little squeeze. "You have no choice but to love me. You've been in this for far too long to back out now," she chuckled slightly to him after a moment. "And, by the way, I'll still love you even if you drink it," she mused.
