More endurance? You underestimate Quinn haha. What she doesn't have in strength she makes up for in brains, speed, and endurance)) - Quinn let the grin fade from her face as she went into tracking mode. She followed the trail then saw it branch off, following each messed up trail for a couple feet before stopping. Sage had done this before, he wouldn't fool her again. Quinn walked to the edge and searched, finding and picking up the trail again as she followed the misplaced dust and little broken branches. When she hit the five mile mark the trail turned, so Quinn was pleased Sage remembered and stayed within boundaries. It helped so much that little droplets of water showed the way, though. She picked up on her speed and ran silently through the underbrush, watching and following like a hunting predator |

(Lol, true. But sage also has the wolf endurance haha. He can lope about for miles and miles) Sage sort of just ambled around until he'd gone around enough to start forming some kind of plan. Maybe going from no plan to plan then back to no plan would throw Quinn off. Plus ....he headed for a stone wall he'd seen earlier, hauling himself up the edge of the cliff and on top. Hopefully that would give Quinn a bit of a challenge. He went through three or four similar physical obstacles before going back to his plan of having no plan and just wandering around. |

True true true)) - Quinn tracked the trail quite a ways, getting a little tired and slowing to a walk. She came up to a tall stone wall, glancing on either side. No water or broken branches or footprints on either side, so Quinn assumed Sage hopped over it. Well, she would just have to do the same, even if She was a little shorter then him. Quinn backed up and took a running start, flying over the wall expertly and rolling on the ground on the other side. She then brushed herself off and continued on the trail, ducking under vines and weaving through trees as the forest grew thicker. She almost lost Sage at a deer trail, but managed to find his trail again and continue following it. |

By then, sage had gone back to wandering around. He grabbed some flowers to pick at here and there, leaving bits of scattered flower parts here and there. Eventually, he took to hopping from tree to tree without any kind of pattern to his movements, just to try and throw Quinn off. He figured she'd find a way around any physical obstacles he'd gone over...she was smart, and resourceful. But then again ....he wanted a bit of a chase. So, he stopped and sat on a tree branch to wait for her to catch up a bit. |

Quinn followed the trail the best she could, occasionally getting thrown off by the flower stems but finding it again. By now the water droplets were faint, but they were still there every once in a while. Like red tape marking the path saying *You are going the right way!* It was comforting for Quinn. She finally stopped as the trail ended, glancing around a bit before looking up in the trees. Quinn easily climbed one ad kept following the trail, though it was a bit harder now. In the distance she caught a slight glimpse of what's might be Sage, so Quinn stayed downwind, silent, and hidden. She moved quickly through the trees but only went where she knew he couldn't see her. When Quinn got close enough she let out a "Aha!" And leapt at Sage, since they weren't that high up. She barreled right Into his back and knocked both of them out of the tree |

Sage sort of just sat there for a while, peering around lazily for a while. Though, he heard her when she lept at him, and he lept away with a yelp of surprise, sort of hoping for some kind of chase through the woods, but he'd lept a bit too late. Quinn managed to tackle him, and he landed on his back with a slight grunt, though it wasn't a far drop at all, so he was alright. Though, she'd landed on top of him, and the way she was positioned plus the scent that suddenly swamped him made his breath hitch slightly and his heart speed up, a slight blush crossing his face. Crap...he hadn't expected that to happen. But, he supposed they were going to try and get her pregnant while they were still here anyway so...maybe this wouldn't be all so bad, right? (I decided to start something here and fluster sage all up again xD) |

(Muah haha I'm so glad that is NOT Quinn... she doesn't get like that lol. Hope!)) - Quinn snickered at Sage's shocked look, somehow whipping out vines from literally nowhere. Though, Quinn didn't use them. Yet. She just dropped them on Sage then dove to the side and tied up his hands rather deftly. It only took a second, and by then Quinn had scrambled back onto him to pin him down the best she could. "Caught ya." She grinned |

Ngl, it's kinda fun writing him so flustered haha) Sage wasn't really all too sure what was happening for a hot second, though by the time his brain caught up as best it could (since it was running in circles and constantly going back to the fact that Quinn was quite literally on top of him), he was tied up with Quinn pinning him down. He had to focus as best he could on the fact that he should probably respond to her and not the fact that he was most definitely 'excited' by her right about then. "You couldn't let me lead you on a chase for two minutes," he whined, trying to untie his hands to no avail. Though, he was obviously not upset by anything. |

And it is very fun to read about Sage so flustered XDD... plus Quinn is just thankful she got him)) - Quinn couldn't help but smirk at the confused and far out look on Sage's face. "Hello, do you know what's going on? Mr Daydream? I captured you" Quinn waved a hand in front of his face jokingly, a pleased expression on her face. When he finally spoke Quinn let out a relieved breath, then chuckled at his words. "Aw but that would take all the fun out of tackling you! And I wouldn't have been able to surprise you either, which obviously did something to your poor brain." Quinn said mischievously, her emerald eyes glinting |

(haha yea) Sage blinked and huffed out a slight breath in response to Quinn's comment. "You could have still tackled me," he groaned, though a slight chuckle came along with it. Then he squeaked and swatted at her, chuckling again. "No, you sitting on top of me while you smell like that is messing with my brain," he protested. "That wasn't from the surprise!" The whole thing was rather amusing, though...he could admit that. |
