Remy sniffled. "I don't know what I'd do without you..." he whispered.

Sage hummed softly and moved to take his hand and kiss it. "Well, you're not going to lose me," reassured him. "I've just got a bit of a headache and some bumps and bruises." It was worse than that of course, but then again compared to losing an arm ...well this wasn't quite so bad

"I know, but it could've been so much worse, and its my fault," he whispered.

Sage frowned slightly. "It's not your fault," he noted. "We agreed to take the egg happily, and no one knew the townspeople would get violent," he added

"Sage, I brought you under the sea even though i knew you would be criticized by everyone," he whispered. "I knew people down here hate people who are different and I still brought you down here,"

Sage chuckled softly. "Hey...people up on land bombed my arm off and my own father abused me for years," he pointed out gently. "I'm happier down here even with all that."

"I just... I feel awful..." he whispered, tears dripping.

Sage sighed softly, just reaching out to wrap his arms around him and tug him into his chest gently. "Don't be," he hummed softly, pecking his head. "This is the life I chose, and I don't regret any of it," he added

Remy nodded hesitantly, curling into his chest.
