Sage was still asleep, but when she moved to curl back in, his hold around her tightened instinctively. He didn't wake at the movement, though he did shift slightly as well.

Sage stayed in a light rest until he felt Liz wake up and start working around. That woke him, so he shifted slightly to release the girl so she could go play again, sort of letting out a sigh as he ran a hand over his face in an attempt to wake up. "How long have you been up for," he asked Elara with a chuckle when he noticed she was already up too.

Sage chuckled softly when she mentioned she'd just been waiting for him to wake, kissing her back and then shifting to sit up a bit more as she left to help Liz. He was still sort of groggy, so he sort of just perched there, waiting until they came back to smile at Liz as the girl moved to grab her dolls and shove one at him to play with her.

Sage let Liz boss him around, making the doll do what she wanted it to do. He did keep an eye on Elara as she worked on breakfast, since he found her rather cute over there, though Liz was quick to demand his full attention.

Sage had looked back over at elara when she mentioned food was ready, nodding before turning back to Liz."come on," he noted, setting the dolls he was holding down and holding his arms out to scoop Liz up. Once she agreed and got into his arms, he stood and moved to settle her down on her chair before taking a seat himself.
