Sage nodded as she said she'd get the things, a genuine smile forming on his face, alibet and exhausted one. "Thank you," he noted softly, giving her hand a light squeeze. He wouldn't tell her about the hallucinations...not yet. She was worried enough. But even now, blood was seeping under the curtains, drop by drop. He nodded at her last comment though, grunting in agreement. "It's hard to talk about things when I'm not sure what happened," he noted softly. He knew they'd used him, knew basically of what had happened....but that was it, for a lot of it.

Mari nodded slightly, biting her lip as he squeezed her hand. She didn't want him to thank her. She hadn't done anything. He'd been so brave, and she didn't even know what to say to him now. She sighed slightly, leaning down to peck his head and curling up next to him quietly. "Yeah, I know," she murmured. She didn't mean anything like that. If he remembered anyone, if anyone had said anything that might tell them who was in charge or where they were going next... it would be helpful. "It doesn't matter. I just meant - maybe if you remember anyone important. Heard anything - it could help." Help what? She didn't know. Maybe just to find out where they were heading.

Sage just sighed softly, letting out a heavy breath of air as he thought, letting his head rest softly on Maris shoulder as she curled up next to him. He tried to think back on the time he's spent there....what all had happened. They'd figured out why they were taking adults, of course, but other than that he didn't really know who they were. "They had an odd accent...I don't think they're from around here," he noted. "But I couldn't place where it was from," he added with a frown. "And whoever was in charge was a woman, I think. A blonde. Tall and skinny. Lots of makeup. That's all I got before she beat me up and I woke up in her bed," he noted, the last part a rather bitter statement.

Mari cocked her head ever so slightly after a moment, her lips pursing in throught. She hadn't seen anyone like that while they were there, so maybe the woman was just sort of dropping in. She had to check and see if the guards or whoever had gone with them had picked anyone up while they had been to get Sage. Maybe they could place an accent or something... they'd probabaly headed wherever home was for them. She kept playing with his hair before eventually moving to give his side a gentle squeeze, her head resting softly ontop of his. "I'll see if that helps anything. We can get a drawing of her or something done and put it up," she hummed. If the woman was in charge, then they could probably get some reward money or something if anyone had any information on it. She sighed, patting his side gently after a little while. "I'm sorry this happened, babe," she murmured.

Sage nodded with a sigh, just shrugging in response to her comments. "I can draw out some things..I don't think I'll ever get her face out of my head anyway," he admitted. "Maybe the drawing would...help." he wasn't sure it would, but it had helped in the past so...maybe. He didn't want to get his hopes up. He grunted at her apology, knowing she wasn't the one who had done anything. "Me too," he noted softly. "If you see Anya, send her down. Maybe we can talk and figure something out," he added with a sigh.

Mari nodded quietly to him after a moment, rubbing his side gently. She was gonna ask someone else to come talk to him and draw it out, but if he thought he coud do it then it was probably better. "If you can't do it, just let me know, k? You don't have to do anything that you're not comfortable with," she told him quickly. The last thing they needed was him winding himself up trying to draw someone like that. It would be helpful, though... if he could draw something similar and they got a few posters or whatever up, they could probably get some information from someone for the right price - maybe it'd help to locate them. She nodded at his request, though. "Yeah, of course," she murmured.

Sage nodded, offering her a small smile. "I think...it would be easier for me to draw it than describe it to someone else and watch as they tried to do it," he noted softly. Then he snorted. "I wasn't comfortable being kidnapped out of my kitchen, or beat up, or chained to a yoke like an oxen, or forced to sleep with whoever the hell wanted it," he pointed out. "I'll be fine," he added gently. But he understood her point, and he appreciated it. He nodded when she mentioned she'd send Anya his way if she saw her, and he let his head rest tiredly on her shoulder, slurring out a sort of thanks as he fought sleep.

Mari nodded slightly at his comment, biting her lip slightly in thought. She just didn't want him to be uncomfortable. If it started stressing him out or anything, she wanted him to stop as soon as possible. The last thing any of them needed was him stressing himself out to the point of sickness - because he would do that. Her brows pinched together after a moment when he continued, and soon found herself just staring at him, her mind completely blank. "You know what's not what I meant," she mumbled after a second or two, shaking her head quickly and pressing a light kiss to his head before sort of shifting out of the bed and making sure he was comfortable.

Sage had sighed at her comment and nodded, letting her move to tuck him in, his eyes already drifting shut in sleep. "I know," he noted softly. A heavy sigh. She was probably mad at him now. "I'm sorry," he added. He'd snapped a little bit....it had been a bit rude, but how was he supposed to react? "I guess it's just a lot and..." He trailed off. He was just making excuses for himself. "I'm sorry," he whispered again, guilt twisting in his gut. God, he was bad at this ...not only had he been rude when she was just trying to help, but this was not the second time at least that whole they were married he'd slept with another woman. Youre a damn fool, Sage he thought, swallowing hard. She'll see that soon enough. And what would happen then?

Mari shook her head slowly as he began to speak, offering what she hoped to be a nothing but comforting smile. He didn't need to apologise for anything. He was tired and grumpy and his meds would be wearing off soon, so he'd probably be a bit sore too. "Don't apologise unless you know what you're apologising for," she hummed, tucking him in a bit more before making sure his hair was out of his face and pressing a light kiss to his forehead. "I know it's hard - I'm just glad you're..." not okay, he definitley wasn't okay. "I'm glad you're safe," she promised, patting his chest. "I'm gonna go see to the kids and grab Anya in a little bit. Just get some rest, hm?" She whispered. Maybe he just need bit of sleep and time to decompress before they did too much about anything.
