Sage sort of wrinkled his nose at her comment in a mock offended manner. "What's that supposed to mean," he huffed, though he couldn't keep the laughter out of his voice. Though he just nodded when she agreed she didn't seem to get it from Amy, a frown crossing his face. "I hope she grows up nothing like amy," he noted softly, turning his head to watch as Liz bounced around happily.

Sage just grinned up at her as her finger moved to his lips, though they'd sombered up as amy was mentioned. He let out a soft breath of his own, though soon enough he felt himself relaxing. It was comfortable there on the bed, Elara resting lightly with him. Liz was happy and safe playing in the corner ...this was good. Really good.

Sage felt a smile form on his face when he felt the blanket move over him, tightening his hold on Elara and letting out a content breath. "You know, this place really has become home," he murmured softly after a moment or so.

Sage just hummed softly in agreement to elaras comment, muscles relaxing further as time slipped on. He felt Liz come up with them after a moment and curl into his other side. He wrapped his free arm around her then, the little girl dozing off quickly.

Sage chuckled softly when he realized both girls were asleep on him, though he certainly didn't mind. He took the opportunity to drift off himself after a while. Maybe the winter would t be so bad after all
