Bradley smirked, walking in, taking her and pinning her against the wall. "I've missed you, baby," he whispered, kissing along her neck. Esme whined, "No... bradley, no... stop!"

Jason's jaw tightened as he walked down the last steps, now visible to the both of them. He turned to the man. "Get the hell out of my house and don't come back." He walked towards the man, tall frame leaning over him.

"Hey man, this is my girl, whatchu doing?" Bradley said defensively.
| |

"Last time I checked, this is also my house and my maid. If she wants you, she'll come to you." Jason took a step closer, looking at Esme to read her expression for any hurt or anger or pleading.

Esme was crying, shaking in fear. Bradley rolled his eyes. "This my girl, I get to do what I want, man,"
| |

Jason with one sudden movement smacked Bradley across the nose as they heard a sickening crack. Jason stood there, wiping the blood off his hand as he turned to Esme, his expression instantly softening.

Esme stared at them both for a moment, frozen in fear, shaking. And then, she bolted. Sprinted away, to her room, slamming the door shut and locking it tight.

Jason let Esme run away, which was probably good, considering that Bradley continued to swing at Jason while holding his nose to stop the bleeding. Bradley eventually left, Jason scribbling a small note down and sliding it through Esme's door before walking away to wash the blood stains on his hands.

Esme had collapsed onto her bed, sobbing her eyes out into her pillow. She could hear the fighting through the walls, which only made her more and more terified. But by the time the note slid underneath her door, she'd calmed down a bit. She tentitively moved to it, kneeling and reading it.

Jason scrubbed the blood off his hands before realizing that his own lip was split as he held an ice cube gingerly to it. A lot had happened that evening, and he felt really sorry for Esme. This was definately not what he had meant for to happen.
