Sage grunted in response to her comments, trying not to get annoyed and understand where she was coming from. Eventually, he just chose to change the topic of conversation. "How'd you meet him," he asked curiously, nodding his head to the wolf they were petting.

"Funny story. It was my first time out here and I was hunting, then I heard a growl and looked over before he jumped on me and, yeah,he's pretty laid back so,not afraid he'll do anything." Elara explains, going back to carving into a stick.

Sage chuckled and patted the animal, sort of just sitting there and letting him crawl all over him for attention. He always had been an animal person, and had wanted a dog of his own. Or a horse. Both would be great. He just had never had the money or a home or anything else.

Varys barked, wagging his tail playfully. "Oh shut up," Elara muttered, the wolf trotting off and stopping.

Sage chuckled softly, sort of watching him walk and stop. "Does he wasn't us to follow or..." He trailed off and cocking his head curiously.

"He'll pop in every so often." She explains, glancing at the wolf.

Sage nodded and sort of waved to the animal before standing up and brushing the loose dirt off his pants where he'd knelt down next to the animal. "Well. What do you say we stop back at the castle, grab some essentials, maybe steal from the kitchen, and make our way out before anyone important wakes up," he mused

|
"Good idea.Let's make it quick,I'd rather not be in there." She mutters, standing and shooing Varys off before taking the trail she had made back to the castle.

Sage nodded and wrinkled his nose. "The less people we run into the better," he agreed, wandering along next to her

|
"Truth, that's the truth." She agrees, sighing as they walk into the gardens.
