Caleb beamed, grabbing her gently and hugging her with as much adoration and care as he could manage. "Thank you" He whispered softly in her ear. He was ecstatic, and kissed her cheek while refusing to let go of her. He knew that if he made one wrong move, she'd most likely turn him away without another look back, but in the moment he felt....... loved. He had never dated someone before, and was curious about this feeling he had everytime he saw her and held her. When he kissed her again, he poured all his promise of protecting her and loving her into it. He smiled with happiness for the first time in a while

Morgan couldn't help her grin when he pulled her in, but wrapped at arms around him in amusement. His whisper caught her off guard, but shook her head. She was about to say something, though his kiss caught her off guard. She hummed as she leaned into it, pressing herself against him firmly before pulling back, her cheeks red and her grin just huge. She looked at him for a moment, studying his features carefully before shaking her head again, the movment soft. "Don't thank me!" She yelped to him with a bit of a laugh, rolling her eyes. "You don't have to thank me for saying yes, you make it sound like a chore or... something," she laughed softly. She pressed her lips against his again, the movement fluid as though it had been practiced time and time again. "And you are definitely not a chore," she promised him softly.

"Oh man, I must be such a burden" He teased, smiling at her playfully. "Next i'll be asking you to do laundry" He joked with a chuckle. He smiled wider as she kissed him lightly again. He would never get tired of her kisses and laughs

Morgan rolled her eyes at him and sort of rolled the two of them over, sort of resting ontop of him with a grin. "Biggest burden ever," she joked softly. She didn't want him to ever think of himself like that... she really did think he was perfect. She slipped her hands into his hair, pecking his lips again. She just didn't seem able to contain herself. "We have to take this slow, Caleb," she murmured to him softly. She'd been in relationships before but this was so... fresh. They didn't even know eachorher very well. It had to be done so carefully. She then pouted at him. "Well, I won't be doing the laundry because god knows how the washing machine works," she huffed to him, clearly just joking around.

He sighed. "I know we do" He murmured, gently stroking her hair when she mentioned taking it slow. "I'm not planning to ask you to prom tomorrow. I just.... feel like you're that person. The one I can love and count on....." He trailed off, feeling his walls crumble away and reveal himself

Morgan looked up at him and gave him a little squeeze, her eyes soft. "Well... you can love me all you'd like," she hummed with a bit of a chuckle. "And I'll love you back the best I can," she whispered. It was so warm here... the bed, the blankets, his arms wrapped around her so tightly. She hummed softly before leaning in, pressing a light kiss back to his lips. "And you can count on me too. If you ever need anything, I'll be here," she told him softly.

Caleb never felt so vulnerable as he did with her. Like he was able to say anything and she wouldn't think twice about it. He smiled softly at her, not really listening as intently at her thoughts as he held her.

Morgan settled down after a moment, just taking in his warmth and the comfort of his chest, rising and falling slowly. It was so... comfortable. She felt so safe with him. She already knew he'd go above and beyond to look after her, keep her safe... happy. She buried her face into his neck, her hand still up his shirt as she slowly drifted off to sleep comfortably.

Caleb kissed her head and held her close as he watched her fall asleep. He slowly began to drift off as well, dreaming of the potential love they might have in the future as well. He knew she probably didn't feel the same, the decision of long-term, but he wanted her. Forever.

Morgan woke early the next morning, as she normally did, and it honestly took a moment to realise what was going on. She'd shifted in her sleep at some point, and now found her back pressed firmly against his chest and her head under his chin. She smiled softly, and moved to hold his hand, putting it up her shirt as she settled down again.
