Nate chuckled and gave her his award-winning smile. "Alright, darling," he snickered and pulled out his phone then handing it to her, the page with his number already on the screen. |

Dakota excitedly put his number in her phone and sent him a text telling him who she was. She handed him back his phone. "Thanks." She said, beaming at him. "I gotta go compete, but i'll see you later." She smiled at him and went to grab her horse |

Dakota finished competing in the top spot before being dropped down to second because of a 0.02 second difference. She looked at the scoreboard and cussed under her breath. She walked Secret back over to her trailer, untacked the mare, and turned her loose into the trailer until they'd go home. Dakota couldn't keep her eyes off Nate, mesmerized and wondering if he would ever want her as she wanted him. He didn't seem to right now, but maybe he would in the future |

Nate watched Dakota compete and then got Jackie out of the trailer, tacking her up and mounting the mare. He walked Jackie down to the little warm-up arena and passed Dakota. He smiled at her, "Hey, second place ain't too bad, you did good out there," he said as he walked by on his horse. |

Dakota beamed at Nate as he rode by, blushing at his compliment before going over to the rail and watching Nate compete |

Nate competed and then walked Jackie out of the arena. They had won second place, the same as Dakota. He dismounted and started untacking. |
