Dakota excitedly put his number in her phone and sent him a text telling him who she was. She handed him back his phone. "Thanks." She said, beaming at him. "I gotta go compete, but i'll see you later." She smiled at him and went to grab her horse

Dakota finished competing in the top spot before being dropped down to second because of a 0.02 second difference. She looked at the scoreboard and cussed under her breath. She walked Secret back over to her trailer, untacked the mare, and turned her loose into the trailer until they'd go home. Dakota couldn't keep her eyes off Nate, mesmerized and wondering if he would ever want her as she wanted him. He didn't seem to right now, but maybe he would in the future

Dakota beamed at Nate as he rode by, blushing at his compliment before going over to the rail and watching Nate compete

"Looks like we both got second." She joked. She watched him untack and groom his horse out expertly. She was in awe and mesmerized by him again. She looked down, embarassed
