Kin's head flew back as she hit him, a bony clack. He about fell back but he ended up letting go when she tried blinding him, and shoved him onto the ground. He landed on his back and immediately attemped to sjg up, shielding his face still and trying to clear his eyes out. His attempt was very much useless and proven more so as he was yanked back into the dirt, hitting his head on the floor. He groaned, more comfortable than anything trying to get the sand out of his eyes which were welling up as his body's response to help him out. He strugged against the shadows, he couldn't see that it wasn't a physical thing. He coughed as the shadowy chain rested against his throat. He had been in control, now everything hurt.

Eris wouldn't feel bad. Couldn't feel bad. He wasn't dying- he was lucky she wasn't currently strangling him. Hell, she could be torturing him, and then head home with Gods knew what kind of valuable information. Something in her gut wouldn't let her. This wasn't war. This was... survival. She was panting, her teeth clenched in pain as she moved to mount her gelding, who she had finally reached. She yelped as her leg buckled beneath her, a wave of pain so sharp it wiped the control of her shadows out. She took in a hard breath, seeing stars from not only the throbbing in her very bones, but the impact of her knees against what msutve been a rock of some sort. She made to crawl for her gelding, but she couldn't... see all that well.

The elf gasped as the weight lifted, roling onto his elbows and knees, trying to make sure his eyeballs worked. They did. He got to his knees and looked around, it was so blurry. He could see her. He stood up, a little unsteady. He reached for that back of his head as he started walking toward the figure on the ground in front of him. He brought his hand back. He was just dizzy because it hurt. No blood. His chin wasn't as fortunate, rolling down his throat were some drops of blood. He came up behind her pinching the bridge of his nose. "Are you alright?" He asked, realizing she was writhing on the ground, as he reached for the gelding's lead. Still with a headache but mire surefooted. as he turned around and walked closer, he spoke again. "I'm about to throw you over my shoulder and carry you all the way back to camp. This is your only warning."

Eris only glanced up when footsteps got close enough that she started panicking, fighting against her own body just to try and stand. It didn't work. She span around quickly as he came up behind her, bringing her hand around with her to whip it against his shin. She didn't like people being behind her. Not that her attack had done much damage as she looked up at him, still seeing stars and baring her teeth. She barely registered his first question, wrinkling her nose as he continued. She spat at his feet and said something that sounded awfully like a curse. "Writcha vachais." She snapped, shifting back away from him on her hands.

"Ow!" Followed by a curse. "Nuuta athuum.." He muttered as he hobbled a foot or two. More out of shock than anything. He quickly fixed himself and gripped the lead. Eyeing her. He did not know what that meant but it sure wasn't "I surrender." So. He eyeballed her between where she spat and her, with this look. "I'm gonna pick you up now." He said evenly and leaned forward, taking one of her arms and taking her legs as if she weighed nothing and he didn't care if she fought back unless she actually hit something.

Eris blew out a breath through her nose, halfheartedly shuffling away from him. She was tempted to bite him, but that wouldn't help her case much. No, she would keep that for another time. She stared directly away from Kin as he picked her up, gritting her teeth as he looped an arm under her legs. She took in a breath and fought against the continual throbbing, thinking about the ache rather than the bitter taste of dissapointment, plus the fact that she was being carried. All of them were painful, but at least only one was physical.

Kin quietly adjusted her til she was resting on both of his shoulders, which was arguably the nicer one of the ways he would carry her. His arm hooked around one of her legs and gripped onto her wrist. He wasn't sure which leg hurt but he was trying to leave pressure off of them if he could. Fortunately she had not made it terribly far, more than he would've liked but that was her fault. He walked pretty evenly, keeping her balanced. His head was down mostly, but he was also looking for her knife. It had fallen out of his hand when she headbutted him. He was still bleeding from that. He did find it, squatting down and pocketing it. He didn't seem to be having much trouble, more concentration than anything. The horse was calmly walking behind them as if this was no trouble at all, all the way back to camp. The most awkward walk he'd ever done. And he's done some weird stuff. Camp was as they had left it, the fire had died down a bit but it was still hot. He let go of the lead and walked to where she had been sitting and put her down. Feet first, he wlt go of her arm and stood up straight, which was where he looked like it caught up with him. And held out her knife for her to take.

Eris sucked in a breath, wriggling slightly just to show she didn't condone what was happening. Not trying to escape, by a long shot, but getting slightly more comfortable and showing her distaste for being held. And touched by him. Typically, she could be a little too affectionate; but she wanted nothing to do with this captor of hers. She just wanted to go... home. She let out a sigh as he let her down, wincing and essentially falling back to the ground. She glanced up at him as he offered her the knife, looking between him and the knife and then taking it. She turned over in silence, curling up and pulling her blanket over herself.

Kin wordlessly turned away. He was honestly surprised the wiggling was all she'd done and he was ..thankful. Ish. He reached out and took the horse's lead and brought him back to the bay. Hopefully their walk back was enough to let him cool off. He sheepishly looked back at her to see if she was watching. He was hidden by the horses. He leaned over and took a breath, his back hurt. His legs hurt more now. How was he supposed to get back on one of these things. He sighed as heavily and as quietly as he could manage before he stood up straight walked back over to the fire and moved his blanket just a little ways further from the fire. Then he laid down on the still half rolled blanket and shifted til his shoulders relaxed. And promptly fell asleep. He didn't know if he would chase after her if she tried again, he didn't have enough will to care right then, just hoping to sleep that night.

Eris curled shamefully into herself, turning her back to him and hoping to be relieved of the embarrassment somehow. Maybe she would wake up, and it would all be a bad dream. The Fae warrior in her sneered at the childish thought, and she let out a small sigh, choosing to think about her next chance for escape. She couldn't try again tonight- her leg felt like She had reopened the wound, and she wasn't willing to check. That would make it feel even fucking worse. She hunched into herself, a tight ball on the ground with her back to the fire. Maybe tomorrow would be better.
