After a while the eggs were done so he grabbed them off of the stove and dumped them into a plate. As he heard a thump outside, Ryker curiously went to the door and glanced out. There was Abby, who looked like she had just fallen out of the.. tree? He decided to ignore it for now, mostly because it was just confusing, and eat his breakfast. Afterward Ryker grabbed a loose fitting button up flannel t shirt, slipping it on and hurriedly buttoning most of the buttons before pulling on his boots and walking outside.

When Ryker poked his head out the door, she laughed, brushed herself off. Abby stretched her legs and walked toward the barn. Sun was asleep still, so she turned and left again, walking perfect little circles in the dirt out of boredom. She stopped, got dizzy, and sat on the ground. Abby laughed at herself then laid down, staring at the sky

Ryker prepared himself for the walk up the steep hill towards the barn, wincing every step of the painful way. "You look happy today." He commented drily as he saw Abby, looking just the slightest bit amused as he went towards the barn to see his beautiful stallion

She shook her head "I was thrown off a tree by a squirrel!" She laughed so hard and rolled onto her side. "A SWEET INNOCENT SQUIRREL!!!" She was practically crying when she sat up she look at him "good morning to you too, friend" she grinned up at him

Ryker stopped as she responded with exuberance, his eyebrows lifting a little in what she would come to recognize as his *I am trying to look mature and not laugh* face. "And... how did that come about? The last time I checked squirrels were the size of my hand." He snorted with a small chuckle

"Your hands are big then???" She jumped up, grabbing his hand and looking at them. "They are!" She put her hand against his and laughed "look at the difference! I have tiny hands compared to you!" She laughed and dropped his hand

Ryker looked just a little surprised as she jumped up and snatched his hand. "Careful, I don't want to lose it!" He tried to resist a laugh at her attitude. Honestly, he had never seen someone that exuberant. Never. "Congrats, you have figured out I have big hands and you have small hands. What's next, you figure out I'm taller than you?" He teased, rolling his eyes a little.

She grinned "maybe!" She stood on her tippy toes and threw her hands to his shoulders to try to jump up and be taller then him for a second. "Even jumping in shorter!" She stopped then ran off "I have an idea!" She grabbed Sun and slowly walked her out of her stall. "Easy girl" she whispered, slowly getting on bareback. She walked her out of the barn. "I'm taller now!"

Ryker winced a little as the sudden, slight extra weight made his ribs feel like they were being jabbed with a knife. A really long poky knife. "I am taller than average and you must admit you are a little shorter than average. Plus that was a sad jump." he teased with a grin, watching her run off. +How does she have that much energy? What did she EAT this morning?+ he thought with a snort. "You are. But I bet if I could actually jump I could still be temporarily taller." He winked with a small laugh, even though even that hurt his ribs. +Stupid things+ he thought, startng to walk towards the barn.

Abby smiled, sliding off of Sun. She dappled mare shook her head with a snort. Abby led Sun to the sunnier part of grass and let her graze while she talked to Ryker. Abby flicked her copper hair over her shoulder and grinned. Her hazel eyes caught the light and gave a slight shimmer, but she looked away quickly. She hopped a few steps then flipped onto the ground. Her stomach growled. "I'm hungry. Do you have any food?" She out hee hand over her stomach, her other hand holding Suns leadrope
