Mercy had been looking for Sal endlessly since the day before, and finally, she had found him. Stationed outside some boring hospital room with nothing interesting going on. She made the impulse decision to rescue him from his little guard duty, walking up behind him quietly and opening her wings suddenly, holding them over his eyes. "Guess who." She chimed, leaning against the doorway behind him.

Sal was leaning against the door frame of the hospital room with his arms crossed. His head was slightly tilted down and his eyes were shut. Angels don't sleep he just wanted to. He was mostly surprised he was still in the field after yesterday's debacle. He opened his eyes at the sound of her voice, opening his eyes to her wing. He smiled a little and moved her wing out of the way to smile down at her. "Good morning, Trix."

"Good morning. Sleepy?" She asked cheerily, folding her wings against her back, smiling right back up at him. "Because if you are, we can always do something WAY more exciting than standing here. I have lots of ideas." She joked. Edited at July 29, 2023 01:20 PM by Widow Valley Farms

He tilted his head. "I'm not sleepy." He narrowed his eyes. "What kind of exciting are you suggesting?" He asked kind of hesitantly, getting in more trouble was not ideal.

"...its a surprise. On a totally unrelated note, do you like ducks?" She asked curiously, tilting her head at him. "But you won't get in trouble. Pinky Promise. Well... that much trouble." She added, giving him a small wink. Edited at July 26, 2023 07:27 PM by Widow Valley Farms

"Yes I do like ducks." He narrowed his eyes. "Why do you ask?" He tilted his head, giving her a curious but teasing stink eye. He uncrossed his arms, pushing himself off of the door frame to stand up straight in front of her.

"No reason." She shrugged with a smirk, holding her palm out flat to him. "Hand, please." She asked politely, looking a little excited to have the element of surprise this time. Edited at July 27, 2023 06:30 AM by Widow Valley Farms

He was very suspicious, figuring there was something to do with ducks. She seemed to think she had him and he didn't wanna show her otherwise. He took her hand.

She gave him a smile and in a split second, they were somewhere else. Specifically, standing a few meters away from the embankment of a smaller sized pond. Of course, it was a duck pond. There was quite alot of them, skimming along the glassy lake in small groups. Behind them was a small, slightly sparse forest that seemed to stretch for quite a while. "See? Ducks." She said, slightly sarcastically. "I made sure to pick an animal that doesn't slobber." She teased, noticing she was still holding his hand. She let his hand go slowly, letting her hand rest at her side.
