"She is palomino, I think I see her " She looked around and saw a Palomino Mare rearing up and kicking he fence, screaming "BLAZE!?!"

"Don't... answer. Let her see you for a second for reassurance, then come back. We don't want the farmers to see us." Raptor murmured quietly, looking at the mare. She looked wildly terrified. "Okay, so I have a plan and your eyes going to protest. I'm warning you now... don't. We will wait till dark, then I will go out there and break the fence. I've done this before and I know where the weak points are. Yes I know it's an electric fence, and it will hurt and yes I know there is a risk I'm captured. Now after I break the fence you guide your sister away, and run. Don't worry about me, I'll come." He said quietly. The sun was setting, and things were getting quiter

"Are- are you sure?" She asked

"I'm sure." It was now dark. "Now stay here, and remember the plan. When I let them loose, find your sister and run. Meet me at the giant rock we saw 5 miles back. Don't look back, don't wait for me. I will come... I promise." Raptor said, then ducked away through the bushes, creeping toward the fence. He knew it was an electrical fence, and this was going to hurt. He leaned against it from the outside, knowing it was weaker that way. It shocked him over and over, the pain almost became u bearable but finally the wires gave way. Raptor stumbled over, woozy from the pain. All the horses galloped out, including the palomino he saw. He heard a farm door open and slam through his haze, and a gun crack go off. He felt a sharp, terrible pain in his shoulder, then he felt... nothing...

As the horses came running, Blaze called out to them, "FOLLOW ME!" As she sprinted to the large rock. All the mares followed her to the rock. Once they got there, she found her sister. "Millie! Your okay!" She said as we ran to her sister. After making sure Millie was okay, she looked for Raptor. He was no were to be seen. She was worried, but stayed with the mares

Raptor woke up woozily. He was in a Barn stall with a bunch of ... cotton stuff stuffed in his shoulder... the lights were bright... there were human voices everywhere... his shoulder hurt... a human was talking to another in a long white coat, holding a clipboard.. Raptor's shoulder hurt... so.... bad....... he blacked out again

Blaze paced around, not wanting to leave Millie or the others. She called to the horses and told them, "Ill be back. If I dont come back in 4 hours, or if people come, Run. Run as fast as you can, and dont stop until they are gone. Dont go where they herd you. Run straight. Follow Millie, she knows where to take you. " She spoke to the mares. She then turned to Millie. "If im not back in 4hours or if people come, take them to our Homeland. And stay there with them "

Raptor woke up again. The bright lights weren't so bad this time... now he just felt fear and pain. The pain... his shoulder hurt... he sat up as gingerly as he could, but still huffed in pain. Raptor looked around. There were still people everywhere, arguing in loud voices. One man said, "I didn't mean to shoot him and you know it!" And the man in the white coat said, "It doesn't matter! You shot a wild horse! Now you are going to have to do something about it!" Raptor slowly peiced it together. When he let out the horses, the far,er came out and must've thought he was a bear. He shot, but the aim was a little off because he was so far away, and the bullet slowed considerably. The bullet hit his shoulder, ripping up all the muscle and tearing it apart, but didn't kill him. Excruciating pain... but no death. He tried to struggle to his feet, using his immense strength to hold him up on three legs. He tried not to, but fired out in pain as he stood. It hurt so bad... even moving it hurt. Everything hurt. The people all jumped up and started talking louder, backing away. The farmer rushed towards him, so he pinned his ears and bared his teeth. The doctor held the farmer back, and I heard him say, "No! Are you crazy? That's a wild animal in pain, it will kill you in a instant!" A farm hand added, "and it would kill you horribly, because it's the size of a freiking bear!" Raptor shook his head at all the humans, snorting and pinning his ears dangerously. He bellowed a warning, biting at the nearest farmhand. The guy jumped up with a yelp and ran out of the barn. Raptor shook his head again, and it didn't matter how badly this hurt he was going to do it. He suddenly charged forward with the force of a bear, bowling three men over and the rest leaped out of his way. He kept off his shoulder as much as possible, but the pain was still shrieking agony. He ran for the open gate, covering so much ground it would be impossible to get him. Once he was about a quarter of a mile away he set his foot on the ground again the it gave wway, sending him toppling to the ground with a crash that shook the trees. He lay, groaning. "...bad idea..."

As Blaze ran to the ranch, she watched Raptor running towards them, then toppling over. She sprinted to him. "Raptor?!"

Raptor opened his eyes drowsily, seeing the swimming image of Blaze running towards him. She heard her family say, "Raptor!?" Before he blacked out
