Sage sighed and shook his head. "It's not always this bad," he admitted. "But if you'd talk to him that would be nice." After a few minutes, the nose bleed stopped, so he set the towel down on the side table and flopped backwards onto the bed with a huff of air. He was exhausted...and it was really late. "I didn't want to wake you up. It's late," he sighed. "Sorry." His voice was quiet...he was already half asleep. He started to get up to stagger over to the chair, knowing that Claudia used the bed. It seemed like a lot of effort though.

"I don't think it would be well for you to sleep in a chair tonight. Do you?" Claudia gave Sage a thoughtful smile, she didn't mind if he slept in the bed, as long as they didn't do anything they would be fine. Claudia gave a tired sigh and laid her back to the bed, she was out of it. It had been a long day, very long, now she had a boyfriend that is getting beat by other women...wow, It was a bit weird to call someone 'her boyfriend'. "I will be glad to talk to Mr.Lopex for you. Im, sure he would be glad to have someone that has had a good bit of experience. I worked for him for a bit, it's the only place my parents allowed me to go during the day. He pays a pretty good amount too.".

Sage yawned and then sighed, flopping back onto the bed, grateful to the girl for letting him in with her. "That might work out," he hummed tiredly. He managed to mutter some form of thanks to the girl before he fell asleep. He was too tired to even get under the blankets or anything. Wow, it had been a really weird day. He'd been on a date, got a girlfriend, then got beat up, but at least the new girlfriend was letting him in the bed with her. He did think it would be good for him to get out of the tavern...he wasn't sure if he'd even be able to work tomorrow, which could depend on if he ate a full meal in the next few days. Good thing he'd eaten a lot tonight, he supposed, because it would be a while before he ate like that again. Be stopped worrying after a while though, and just let himself slip into a sleep deeper than he normally would. But, he was pretty sure he needed it.

Claudia sighed happily, pulling the covers over Sage, didn't want him to get a cold. She lay down, turned to the boy, she smiled before shutting her eyes, eventually falling asleep. She still didn't believe how crazy the day had been...It felt like very little time before Claudia opened her eyes, the light once again blinding her. She was turned, her back to Sages, whom she remembered was there. Claudia quietly turned to the boy, and smiled, tucking a piece of his loose hair back in place. Poor Sage had a rough night the night before...he couldn't keep doing this job, she imagined it hurt him not only physically but mentally too. Claudia gave a small frown, still turned to Sage.

Sage stirred slightly when he felt the girl shift, and blinked up groggily at her, the sight of her face bringing g a small smile to his face. He murmured a sort of good morning to the girl and stretched, then winced when his bruises protested. "I'm not working today. I refuse," he groaned, putting his head back down on the pillow and falling asleep again. He probably should have gotten up and talked with Claudia, but he was just so tired.

Claudia shook her head and gave a small chuckle, "Yes, it's best you sleep. Get your strength up...". She smiled thoughtfully before sitting up and stretching. Claudia got out of bed and sighed, her hands on her hips. She walked over to her dresser and picked out the most comfortable outfit, which was somewhat hard, none of the clothes were very comfortable. Glancing at Sage she went behind her dressing curtain and somewhat hurriedly put her clothes on. Claudia went back to the bed and sat down, sometimes glancing over at Sage, she sighed before laying back down, what to do...

Sage slept for another hour and a half or so, before stirring and stretching with a yawn, though didn't stretch as far as before, and really only stretched his arms and legs, not his torso, since that hurt. He looked over at Claudia and smiled slightly. "What have you been up to," he hummed. "I can't imagine you've been doing much while I take up half your bed," he noted in a relitively amused tone of voice, struggling to sit up. The bruises had become sore now, so any movement hurt, but he really should at least sit up.

"No, it's not a problem, really. Just re-reading a book." Claudia laughed, in her hand the book she had read the night before. "Are you feeling alright? Any better at least?" she gave Sage a worried look, "I will be glad to talk with Mr.Lopex today if you're still open for...a different job.". Claudia sat back on the bed so her shoulder was parallel to Sage's, she gently rested her head on his shoulder and sighed, then moving a bit closer, "You must find a new job...I swear, this job is breaking you!". She slowly shook her head, glaring at the wall ahead of them.

Sage hummed and nodded. "I'm alright. Just tired. And a little sore, but I'll be alright." He gave the girl a thankful smile and nodded. "I think I'll take a different job if I can," he sighed. He cuddled into the girl a bit, finding comfort in the girl's warmth. "Don't be so mad, though. I'd have starved by now if it weren't for the tavern. This had been my home for a long time "

'Not a very good home.' Claudia thought in her mind before smiling up at Sage. "I can inform your boss if he gets suspicious, that you aren't working today if you'd like" She wasn't exactly sure how Sage's boss would take a good worker...quitting. Claudia yawned, shaking her head, trying to wake herself up a bit more, "Shall I get you breakfast?" she grinned at Sage, touching his hand gently, he still looked...beat up, he wouldn't clear up for at least today and some of the next day for sure. Whoever that woman had been, she hadn't been very civilized. Claudia rolled her eyes at the thought of the woman, she knew she herself would be gentler. Then she blushed, her thought getting to deep.
