"Yeah. Well- it was mainly this guy who got a bunch of kids, sent them out as pickpockets. The better you were, generally, the more you ate. So, naturally, I was the best." ¤ She shrugged. ¤ "I like not starving."

His eyebrows raised a little. "Pickpocket? Wasn't quite expecting that." He bit his lip. "England? It was. It really had no inbetween too proper or too poor. I and my mother hardly made a living but it was nice I guess. A lot more people than here. I prefer the woodland life." He crossed his leg over the foot of the leg that was up and put his hands behind his head. "It was fine, I justs wish we'd been better set off or that she'd had come with me."

"He's in the main town, after the storm passes I'll introduce you." He smiled. He liked his father a little better, he was more leniant than their mother. He slicked back his hair. "You met my uncle, he's the headmaster and we just call him that usually."

"We have houses and stores and dragon houses there to keep them sheltered but they stay here of their own free will really."
