He snorted out a laugh at her first comment, and then looked back up at her. "I know. That's why you have a staff and not one of these." He held up his dagger before resheathing it. "Your staff is purely for defense. Hit and run. If it comes to it, just get to me and I'll do the fighting." He shrugged and grinned crookedly. "No one's been able to kill me yet. And I'm too stubborn to let anyone win, so it should all turn out ok."

Ellie giggled slightly and nods a bit she wasn't sure what was so funny " I feel stupid being out here... I'm not trying to be rude really I'm not I don't want to hurt you trust me... its just I never thought id be homeless.." she sighs and started walking back to the cave her head a bit low.

He shrugged. "Well, if there's one thing I've learned is that a lot of things happen you never think would ever happen. Never assume, I guess."

Ellie nods slightly she held the staff in her hand as she walked into the cave she leaned it against the wall.

Sage plopped down on the ledge outside the cave, swinging his feet in the air below him staring at the water go past.

she sat on a rock by the entrance looking out as she started to brush her fingers through her messy hair.

Sage glanced over at her and grinned. "You get used to it," he chuckled.

"hm?" she looked back at him "used to what?" she asked a bit confused as she had most of the knots out of her hair she braided it.

He chuckled again. "Your hair is going to get tangled. You can get it out now, but in a few days you might want a brush or something since your hair is long."

"oh right" she let go of her hair "ill be back in a bit" she stood up picked up her staff and walked out of the cave and went towards the town
