Sage threw her a sympathetic glance when she mentioned Dorian and stopped herself, but he nodded along. "I'm sure he'd help you if he can," he agreed lightly. Liz had hopped off his lap by then, and grinned over at elara in response to her question. "I was a princess and he was my unicorn," she chirped, picking up her stick and waving it around dramatically again, as if it were a real sword and she was fighting imaginary creatures.

She sighed, shaking her head in defeat. "After he was whipped I haven't heard a word from him ever since, I don't even know where he is." Elara muttered, brow furrowing slightly as she remembered what exactly had gone down between them. She looked at Liz for a moment, chuckling. "He was your. . . unicorn?"

Sage let out a soft breath and a nod, pursing his lips slightly. "I'm sure he's alright," he noted softly. "They were a nice group of people ...always willing to help from what I've heard," he added. Though he also gave Liz a confused look when she mentioned the unicorn, sort of exchanging a look with Elara as Liz nodded with a giggle. "A purple one," she exclaimed happily. "How'd you even ever learn what a unicorn was," sage asked with an amused laugh, to which the little girl just shrugged.

"May've looked it," She murmured in response, knowing the royals always tried to keep a good image, yet behind closed doors it was a burning, living hell. "He's purple?" Elara asked to Liz, the girl nodding. "And Varys is a dragon, a pink one!" She explained, clasping her hands together. "He's like ROARRR whenever he's run to much, that's why I call him a dragon." Elara gave a questionable look, though it made sense when Varys darted in after running for a while, breath ragged and sounding almost like snorting. The woman laughed at the realization, Varys staring at them all.

Sage hummed softly in agreement, but shrugged. "Royals have to hide things. Those people had no reason to do that," he thought out loud. "Really, I'm sure he's alright," he added. Though, when Liz kept talking, he just got more and more confused, and wound up just shaking his head in amusement and chuckling softly. "You've got a good imagination, kiddo," he noted lightly. He hoped she never lost that.

Elara just shook her head, throat tightening at just the thought of it all. "Oh yeah, I also have WINGS, I can FLY!" Liz exclaimed, glancing around before whispering. "Don't tell anyone, though."

|
Sage pretended to act surprised when Liz mentioned the wings, and he nodded. "Wow, only very special ones have wings," he noted before he nodded seriously, struggling to keep a straight face. "Cross my heart and hope to die," he promised, just giving up on keeping his face straight and grinning as she ran off to circle varys, still yelling excitedly. "I dont know where she gets all this energy from," he mused fondly, shaking his head as he flipped back onto the bed, resting there on his back.

She chuckled, looking over at Sage as she flopped down close to him. "Where do you think she gets it from?" Elara mused, curling slightly into his side.

|
Sage hummed softly and shook his head. "I have plenty of energy, but somehow she manages to wear me out anyway," he mused fondly, wrapping an arm around Elara as she curled in. "Can't imagine she got it from her mother though," he added with a head shake.

|
Elara muttered a 'well that's for sure' when he mused he had plenty of energy. She flopped an arm across him as she scooted closer as he put an arm around her, resting her head on his shoulder with a soft sigh. "I couldn't imagine it either," She agreed, slipping her eyes shut for a moment before flicking them back open again.
