Dakota forced the tears to stop, taking a few breaths. She hated making him feel like this, but she didn't want to do something so bad he'd regret it. She wiped her eyes before walking back to the house. She saw Nate and rushed over to him. She grabbed his face gently between her hands. "No, stop crying." She pleaded quietly, a tear of her won rolling down her face. "Stop." She breathed, wiping his tears away |
