Nathan Croft - Nate fell silent. So she didn't want a baby. Now he felt stupid. Really stupid. He took his hand away, folding them in front of him and staring down blankly.
"Nate, no that's not what I meant. Of course I want a baby, it's just not probably a smart decision so i'm telling myself I don't want it. Just tricking myself so i'm not upset about it." She explained quickly
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate nodded. "Okay..." he said softly. He respected her decision, but it still hurt a bit.
"Nate, handsome, please stop being like this. I-" She said, but soon realized she was unable to really explain it. She sighed and stood, walking back outside to the barn
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate just sat there, feeling very very stupid. Yes, he wanted a baby, but how stupid was he to think they were going to have a baby before they were married, and before they'd been together for over a year. He just felt really stupid.

Dakota walked into the tackroom and sat on a hay bale before pulling her knees up against her chest and wrapping her arms around them. She felt a tear roll down her cheek, then another, and another
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate put his head in his hands, and closed his eyes. He didn't know what to do anymore...
Dakota was unable to stop the tears that rolled down her face, at a loss for any thoughts or words
| |
Nathan Croft - Nate concentrated on breathing. In and out, in and out. He started crying, slowly, trying to keep it under control. No baby, no baby, no baby, no baby... he was drilling into his brain.

Dakota forced the tears to stop, taking a few breaths. She hated making him feel like this, but she didn't want to do something so bad he'd regret it. She wiped her eyes before walking back to the house. She saw Nate and rushed over to him. She grabbed his face gently between her hands. "No, stop crying." She pleaded quietly, a tear of her won rolling down her face. "Stop." She breathed, wiping his tears away
