Matt had still been on the highway when Trixie messaged him, and still just as upset. He looked down at his screen light up, shaking his head at Laylas offer to respond for him- that would only make it worse. Instead, he turned his phone over and carried on driving. They were near the airport now, and the nearer they got the sicker he felt. Still, he couldn't go back now.

Trixie frowned when no answer came through. She glanced at her phone and checked his location to see if he was safe, at least- only to find that he was... at the airport. She blinked in a panic, sitting bolt upright. He wouldn't leave without telling her, would he? But... wouldn't he? She had already told him he should go Italy. So why did it hurt so much to realize he had actually taken her advice? She thought for a few moments, staring through tears at her phone. After, she sprung up and went sprinting down the stairs to her car. She loved him. And people who loved each other did whatever it took to stay together. At least, that was how she justified it for the moment.

Matt pulled in to the airport car park, getting increasingly frustrated at the slow moving lines. He knew it hadn't taken long to get to the airport but he sure as hell did not want to miss his flight while he was here. And that was looking somewhat likely. He still had to get through the doors, sign off the baggage, go through security, check in at the gate..all with being there an hour before the plane departs at least. He sighed as he finally managed to pull the car in, promptly getting out and heading into the airport, biting his lip at the multiple people already there.

Trixie was speeding... far faster than she should've been, but she was determined to get there before he left. Amazingly, she didn't get pulled over before she got to the highway. She grabbed her phone and dialed his number urgently, panicking slightly.

Matt stared down at his phone as it lit up, and he frowned as Trixies name came through eventually. He was tempted to pick it up, tell her where he was, say he was coming soon. But that would probably upset her even more, so he decided to ignore it. He could only pray he remembered to turn his location off before he left, though he had no time to check as he reached the front of the line for the baggage checks. After he had gone through security and given his tickets to gate check in to run them over he decided to actually give Layla the time of day, talk to her. After all he would be stuck with her now no matter how much he missed Trixie, no matter how much it hurt. He stared down at his phone as he waited. About half an hour or so until he had to board.

Trixie had to fight every step of the way to get there. The air port traffic was insane, and she was almost broke into tears when he didn't answer. She called him again, assuming she would get the same result. She eventually found a parking spot and made her way into the entrance of the airport.

Matt was beginning to grow increasingly bored, especially as the flight was delayed. Only by about twenty or so minutes, but it was still bad enough. He let Layla know he would be back and stood himself up, grabbing his flight ticket and heading towards the first cafe he could see, briefly ordering a drink and then sitting down at a table, which overlooked most of the airport, and the entrance.

Never actually been on a plane so just pretend this makes sense lol)) Trixie walked in, barely short of running. She glanced around in a panic and then looked at her phone, seeing as she would never actually find him on her own in time. Her text was short, and simple, and she was sure it didn't even reflect a millionth of her panic. "I'm at the airport. Please answer me."

its all good lol) - Matt watched as his phone lit up again, staring at the message in shock. She was..here? How she knew he was here at all was beyond him, that was until he checked his own location. On. He sighed and stared at the lit screen, debating replying. "Please go home" he sent back, feeling the same guilt spread through him as soon as it went through.

"I love you." Was all she sent back, pacing for a moment in thought before she walked toward security, then paused. She had no idea what to do. Would they even let her in if she didnt have a ticket of any sort? Did she even have time for security, if his flight was to leave soon?
