Ajax leaned forward half a centimeter before freezing. That voice. That awful voice that he almost strangled to death months ago. He slowly grit his teeth, pulling away, and turning to face the man he had wanted to literally violently rip apart for more than a year. "Grady." He hissed, his body going ridged, Fury radiating off of him. "You get your sorry no good stupid ugly flipping ass off my property before I rip your smug face off and feed it to Rex." He snarled, his eyes darkening angrily. No. No. No no NO NO NO. He couldn't deal with this. Not now. How!? How could this happen!?! What was he supposed to do? Their WEDDING had been interrupted by the single WORST BEING ALIVE, DEAD, EXISTING, OR NOT EXISTING.

Mercy winced as soon as Ajax said his name, closing her eyes and letting her arms drop to her side as she turned. She knew what she had to do, but she had to steel herself to do it. As much as she seemed like a doe-eyed little thing, she couldn't let others take care of her problems for her. That wasn't how it worked. It couldn't be. Mercy gently set her palm to his chest, wordlessly telling him to back off as she took a step forward. She let out a slow sigh. "What is it?" She asked quietly, crossing her arms and giving the blonde angel a tired look. Grady looked smugly entertained when Ajax went off on him, giving a light shrug. "I'm afraid I can't. I'm on a very important mission. Heavenly duties, you know. Nothing you would even be able to comprehend in your wildest dreams." He said condescendingly, offering Mercy a cool, charming smile. "Oh, my love. You can't possibly think I'd ever let you get married to that buffoon." He chuckled, taking a few slow, smooth strides toward the pair, smiling happily.

Ajax was about to start on fire and pull Grady's head off, but Mercy stopped him. He gave her a surprised look before stepping back, as she wished, his teeth grit. He crossed his arms and angrily glared at the blonde idiot on front of him, getting angrier and yet more grief stricken at each word. He knew he couldn't let Grady get to him... but it hurt. Through the man's taunts and comments, he stayed silent, his face stony. However, at the end, he couldn't hold his peace any longer. "If you ever acted like a normal man and loved her like she deserves then maybe it'd be you at the alter instead of *that buffoon*" He snarled. "In any case, answer her question. Why are you actually here?" He growled, almost quivering as he tried to restrain himself from getting in a full blown battle with Grady. He was known for threatening a lot, but anyone who incountered him knew his bite was much bigger than his bark.

Mercy let out a quiet sigh, shaking her head as Grady tried to toy around. She didn't let his words affect her, as much as they nagged at her. She smoothed her hand quietly up Ajax's chest as he started snapping again, letting him get it out with a sigh. "Grady. Whatever this is, we can argue another time. Please, don't make this get uglier than it already is." Grady let out a scoff at Ajax, shaking his head. "I'm afraid it's not that simple. My little dove likes making things hard for me, don't you, dearest?" He teased, pointing his words at Mercy lightly. She glared back at him. After a moment, he sighed, waving a hand dismissively through the air. "You're no fun. But if I must get to my point, I suppose I will." He said, rubbing at his face quietly with what looked like the first sign of stress in his expression. Worry, almost. "Ria, you're getting recalled." He said quietly, bringing his disconcerted gaze to meet hers. With his tone, it meant those words were obviously an insanely big deal.

Ajax tightened his jaw, smoke still curling up from his shoulders, but he fell silent again as he looked at Mercy's completely defeated gaze. He wanted to murder that blonde jerk. Not Goose, Grady. ++++ Goose was staring in slack Jawed amazement at this unknown man's rude words, but as they got meaner he started forward, looking like he was going to eat Grady. Rooster had to hold him back- but they both looked infuriated. +++ Ajax rolled his eyes at Grady's words, his chest feeling tight- it was hard to breathe at this point. At the man's last words and Mercy's expression his whole world stopped. He had heard of that before. He had been threatened by Many demons to get *recalled* because he wasn't being *bad* enough, but for angels.. that was.. horrible. He had heard whispers of what it meant. He hoped with all his being that it didn't mean what he thought it meant. "Mercy.. what does that mean." Ajax asked lowly.

Had to clarify between the two blonde jerks xD)) Mercy started breathing quickly, staring at Grady with glazed over eyes. Her chest was heaving softly and she swallowed the fear building in her throat with a faint nod. Not even Grady would lie about something like that. "I have to go." She murmured, gently twisting her fingers together and letting out a breath. Grady, for once, stood back and let Mercy do whatever it seemed She needed to do. He glared quietly at the other two men who seemed eager to kill him, but he didn't look very intimidated. Mercy let out a slow breath and turned to Ajax, lifting her hands to cup his head in her hands. "It means I've got to go. And I don't know if I'll be back." She said softly, pulling him closer and leaning her body against his. "But I love you. I always will." She ended, pulling him into a passionate kiss as a tear slid down her face, subsequently pressing to moisture to his cheek.

(Sometimes.. with Goose, clarification can be neccesary XD) +++ Ajax got even more scared when he saw how upset Mercy was. Like her whole body just froze and she didn't know what to do. If Grady had caused this, Ajax swore he would disembowel the man with a special dagger that had jagged edges and was coated with flesh eating bacteria. At her soft words he shook his head, slowly, not wanting to believe them. Breathing quickly became even harder. "Why? Why do you have to go, why can't you come back? You can't just leave.. I..." his voice cracked. He didn't want to show Grady how weak and helpless he felt right then, but he couldn't hide it. "I don't want you to leave.." He whispered, hugging her tightly before slowly letting go.

"I don't know, love. I just... have to. I... I could be back, I just, I- I don't... I'm not sure." Mercy answered softly, rubbing his back quietly as his words started cracking her heart into pieces. She let out a soft, almost inaudible whimper of pain at his words. "I know. I don't want to leave either. I promise, I'll try my hardest to get back to you. I won't ever stop trying." She said quietly, rubbing her thumb gently across his cheekbone and offering him a soft, weak smile. "I love you." She said softly, drawing gently away from him and turning to walk quietly away with Grady.

Ajax bowed his head slightly. He didn't want to make it harder for her, but the pain was shattering him. "It's okay It'll be okay. I'll see you as soon as I can." He whispered, breathing in the scent of her hair. "I love you more than you could ever imagine." He murmured as she pulled away, the grief in his eyes so strong it felt like it would take him over. He stood there, abandoned at the alter, while Mercy and Grady flew away, before he couldn't take it anymore. Tears welled up in his eyes, but they now had a bitter feeling as he stalked to the house. He could faintly hear Goose and Rooster calling after him, but everything else was muted out as he kept hearing Grady's sneering voice and Mercy saying she needed to go... over and over and over. Ajax slammed the door so hard the whole cabin shook. His face now wet, he let out a scream of Fury and pure deep rooted grief, slamming his fists into the wall over and over and over until his knuckles were bruised and bleeding. The whole world spun, nothing seemed real. She was gone. Truly gone.

Are you okay with me skipping past her 'waking up' from her so called coma, he finds her a day or two after she's released from the hospital?))
