Elijah smiles, "we should picnic here sometime" he suggested

"Sure" Dakota agreed easily, closing her eyes

Elijah's smiles, gently stroking her hair

"Are you happy, love?" She asked, thinking

Elijah nods, "with my beautiful wife next to me, how can I not be happy?" He smiles, kissing her head

"Is this the life you wanted?" She asked, smiling

Elijah nods, "yes it is" he says kissing her

Dakota kissed him back before the monitor went off. She jumped up and mounted Secret, spurring the mare through the trail and to the house. She handed the reins to Elijah before darting inside and grabbing Ethan. "Hey bud." She said, slightly out of breath as she walked outside and took Secret from Elijah. She untacked the mare and groomed her out with Ethan's help before putting the blanket on her and putting her to bed.

Elijah's g raced after her, spurring Whisper on. He held the reigns of Secret as Dakota ran in to tend to their son. He let the two interact as they waited. He then untacked Whisper and led him to his stall. He then pet his head and gave him a peppermint. He walked back inside afterwards

Dakota walked inside and handed Ethan off to Elijah so she could make dinner. She made fried rice and chicken before serving Elijah and eating. She fed Ethan before playing with him and putting him to bed. Ethan didn't want to go to bed, so it took Dakot nearly 30 minutes to have him actually fall asleep rather than lay there and cry. She sighed once he was asleep and walked out, hoping he would stay asleep. She went and got dressed before crawling into bed for the night
