Ryker grinned. "Okay okay okay. But it still fits." He didn't want to laugh for fear it would hurt his chest. After listening to her story he tilted his head slightly. "Well for one I'm VERY glad you turned out to be a girl. Otherwise we'd either not have met or just be best friends..." He trailed off as he thought about that. He should not have thought about that. "He's a lucky father."

Abby giggled. "I guess he is. I have definitely put up a good fight against him though..." she remembered a time when she snuck out of the house just to go see the horses. She smiled at the thiught

Ryker smiled a little, his eyes twinkling. "I bet you put up a lot of good fights." He joked, leaning in to her slightly.

Abby giggled as he leaned in. "Why you leaning in?"

"It's NOT to smell you." Ryker answered, which really didn't explain much, and obviously was a small joke because of his small grin. He didn't really want to go full out grinning right now- not when his chest was saying *YOU'RE GONNA DIE*. "I'm just glad you're happier."

"I am happier. Very happy" she pulled him closer to kiss him

"Good." Ryker mumbled, trying not to give any signs he was still in a good amount of pain as he leaned in and kissed her. "Because if you're happy, I'm happy. You know the saying... happy wife, happy life." He joked with a small smile.

"Yes. Very happy wife. Very happy life" she grinned then let him go. "Youre hurting. Did I touch it or something?" She eyed his chest. "If I did just tell me"

Ryker didn't laugh, although he wanted to, smiling instead. At her words he shook his head a little too hard. "No no no, I'm fine." He insisted. "Of course it's gonna sting a little, but I can barely feel it."
