Quinn closed her eyes again and started to drift off, but she could feel almost a nervous energy buzzing from Sage. That happened with her mind reading powers... no matter how much she could block out, when someone was having very strong emotions she could always feel them. "I thought you were the one who liked to sleep." Quinn half mumbled half smiled, though she kept her eyes closed.

Sage raised his head to look over at Quinn when she spoke and chuckled lightly. "Sorry," he sighed slightly. "I'm just thinking," he hummed. He was thinking about a lot of things, really....not just one. His brain sort of went all over the place, sort of like some kind of train wreck or something. He didn't want to keep Quinn awake though, so he tried to stop thinking so much, because he did feel bad about keeping her up.

Quinn let out a small chuckle, opening her eyes and glancing at Sage fondly. "Don't be, but I can only imagine what you're thinking about." She said drowsily, her voice teasing. "Well since thinking is not something my brain can do at the moment, I hope you sleep nicely." Quinn murmured, her eyes closing again as she started to drift off

Sage chuckled at the girl's drowsy comments and tried to settle down next to her and relax. Sleep didn't come for a while, but when it did, at least it was a nice, deep sleep. He hoped he'd be all better in the morning, or at least close to it. He had so much he wanted to do, and he had to be better to do them. Looking forward to the next day probably didn't help him sleep at all, but hey, he couldn't help but be excited.

Quinn fell into a deep sleep rather quickly, dropping off into darkness - The next morning she woke surprisingly late, maybe around 10 am. Quinn broke a big yawn and shifted, blinking sleepily in the bright light. Ahhh she was so comfortable. She had not felt this way in... months. Quinn almost fell back asleep, the sun soothing her body

Sage slept well past the time when the sun rose...and past Quinn, though that was rather normal he supposed, especially since he'd stayed up much later than she had the night before. Eventually, though, he stirred and blinked his eyes open with a yawn.

Quinn opened her eyes again, surprised to see the sun almost directly in the sky. A mischievous look came into her eyes as she took in a slow breath. Then Quinn bounced up like a rabbit, clapping her hands. "It's morning, I'm hungry, wake up." She sang happily, just to tease Sage. Quinn then walked to the Fire and stirred the embers, a grin in her face. Well her brain woke up rather quickly.

Sage groaned when the girl started clapping and yelling, squinting over at her as she practically bounced over to the fire, blinking over at her blearily. "what's for breakfast then," he sighed slightly, a yawn taking over the rest of his sentence as he crawled over to flop down next to the girl again.

Quinn arched an eyebrow. "You lost breakfast when you slept past noon." She snorted. "It's lunchtime... and I'm thinking... maybe some more deer?" Quinn asked with a tilt of her head. There was still some leftover from last night, and if they didn't have enough she could always go hunt a goose. -Well, I'd better not hunt the goose next to me- Quinn thought wryly, smiling.

Sage looked rather lost for a moment when she said he'd slept past breakfast time before peering up at the sun, rather confused and obviously surprised they'd slept well past noon. He yawned again and shrugged when she suggested deer. "I'll eat anything at this point," he admitted with a slight chuckle. "Except maybe you or chaos," he added with amusement.
