"But I need to figure it out," He protested quietly,

"I don't need rest, I need to go back home and get right back to dealing with clients and stuff." He tried again.

"Babe. Sleep. Rest. Take a bit to breathe"

"Em I need to get back, there's a---a whole lot of things I need to do." Caden protested.

"Like?" She questioned, crossing her arms

"Talk to clients, give updates, work on investments for people-" He eventually kept rambling about things and nonsense, a nurse eventually being called in and sedating him. "and. . . and. . ." Caden drawled, eyelids growing heavy and slipping shut.

"Mhm. Thanks" She said to the nurse, watching Caden

Caden woke up a while later in a daze, the drug putting him in la-la land for a while. He looked around before staring down Emily, looking up at the ceiling like it insulted him before flipping it off. He pointed at it before looking back at her, huffing a laugh. "It just told me space rodeos have flying cows, that's offensive."
