Sage huffed out a mock snort of offense ashe handed Liz her plate, instructing the girl to sit down and eat before she moved on again. "Please, I survived without you just fine," he noted, tossing her a wink. "But j will say the company is much more enjoyable now," he added with a grin, taking the remaining meat for himself.

Elara just laughed, tossing him a look as she continued eating, eventually finishing and taking everybody's plates inside. She pushed the door open, seeing Varys curled up in the blankets on the bed. The woman set the plates down before shooing the wolf away, the creature running outside.

Sage just grinned wider when she laughed at his comments, finishing eating in a comfortable silence with her. When she took the plates, he caught Liz and worked at cleaning her up a bit, since she had food all over her face and hands by then.

Elara sat back beside Sage, chuckling at Liz. "Wow...how did you manage that?" She mused, warming her hands by the fire.

Sage grunted softly when elara sat back down, shaking his head with a small laugh. "Pure strength," he noted. "If I can catch her I can keep her close enough for a few minutes," he added with a fond shake of his head. "Guess I've had plenty of practice," he added, nudging her gently. "Don't worry, you'll get there soon enough," he added.

Elara smiled sweetly, nodding along. "No need to, I already am." She noted, Liz wrestling out of his arms and running off again. "Liz!" The woman called, the girl stopping and running over to her outstretched arms. Elara finished cleaning her face, getting all the food off.

Sage snickered softly when she mentioned Liz, though felt his eyebrows shot upwards when Liz came running immediately after she called her. "She doesn't do that for me," he complained, though there was a fondness in his tone even then.

Elara smirked at him, releasing the girl. "'Pure strength'." She teased, nudging him lightly as she ran back off, catching a bug and sitting, gazing intently at it.

Sage snickered softly and nodded with a hum. "She's still small enough to just....grab and wrestle into being clean," he noted with amusement. "Not sure how long that'll last, but...for now it works," he added with a grin.

|
"Probably not long, once we start teaching her how to defend and stuff because, well, you never know, then it'll probably be a bit hard." She noted with an amused chuckle, Varys running over and laying down with his head in her lap.
