Sage hummed lightly with a nod when she suggested going over there to eat at some point. "I probably would have gone over myself and had lunch or something just to scout them out at some point anyway," he admitted with a somewhat sheepish grin and chuckle. "But it would be nice to go as a family," he agreed lightly, pecking her cheek when she moved to curl up against him. "I think it'll be good for all of us," he mused after a moment, sort of nodding in response to her comment and then chuckling as she peered over at the art. "It's coming along," he noted happily.

Mari looked back at him after a moment, her arm softly lacing through his. "It's lovely... nothing like the place that you were at. Everyone seemed happy. I think the kids would like it too," she chirped. She looked back at his art, though soon found herself staring at him. He was gorgeous, in every way. The way his hair fell out of his bun and into his face, gently framing his features, or even just him looking down at his art with that face of concentration of his. She leaned in to peck his lips after a moment, then stood up to go finish off dinner.

Sage hummed softly and nodded, a smile forming on his face. "I know," he mused lightly. "But I do want to see that place," he chuckled softly. He'd gone back to sketching soon enough, sort of just resting with Mari for a bit. He pecked her lips back when she moved to go get dinner, and stayed curled up on the couch for a while longer before moving to get up and wander to the kitchen. He could smell the food, which meant dinner would prob be nearly ready by then.

Mari hustled around the kitchen at quite a pace, until the kids came running downstairs and Sage wandered into the kitchen. She slipped some plates onto the table, along with some cutlery and glasses of juice before putting the tray of hot food on the table to, and started dishing some food out for everyone. Soon enough, though, they'd managed to finish off their meals and she went to tidy up happily, instructing Sage to get the kids ready for bed.

Sage had wandered in to sort of help set dinner up, but Mari had already pretty much done most of it, and had sat him down pretty quickly. He did so with a sort of chuckle, though moved to get the kids settled in their chairs and such once they came running in. He dug in happily once the food was served though, admittedly rather hungry by then. He'd had a nice time to relaxing for a while though, so he certainly wasn't complaining.

Mari smiled softly as every tucked in... it had been a good day, and for the first time in a little while she'd felt a little bit more useful. She hated being stuck in the house, not doing much other than running after the kids. They were easy. The fact that she could help contribute to the house and their schooling a little more made her feel good for sure. Once they were done, though, she got the kids to bed and went to go tidy up the kitchen, a happy little grin still lingering across her face.

Sage had nodded to follow Maris instructions to get the kids ready for bed, letting them tell their mother goodnight and all before shooing them out of the kitchen so she could clean up. He started to wander back to the kitchen, but then got an idea and sort of groaned to himself but went to slide upstairs quickly to find a blanket he could use. He'd thought back to that one time she's only worn that little purple apron and he'd done the blanket toga thing....which was exactly what he fashioned now, then quickly moving back to the kitchen, a goofy looking grin on his face. She hadjoked about him flashing her too...so he was planning on having some fun with it all. So, he moved to slide up behind her and wrap his arms around her waist lightly, like he normally did.

Mari was busy clearing up the table as Sage got the kids to bed. It was pretty routine, now. Everything flowed together pretty easily. Though, when she felt arms wrap around her waist, she chuckled gently although didn't look up at him nearly at all. She just hummed softly, and gently patting his arm before continuing her chores. "What do you want," she asked in a rather sceptical tone of voice. His gesture was sweet, but he normally only really did it when he was tired and wanted to cuddle up or something. Which, she admittedly didn't mind the sound of right then... a warm bed, with safe arms around her and a quiet room? Yes please. Although he'd have to wait for her to finish tidying.

Sage just chuckled softly in response to her comment, shaking his head slightly. "Nothing," he mused, though it was hard to keep the wide grin on his face out of his voice. He could tell she was sceptical...though he didn't think this was exactly abnormal. Even so, he couldn't help but he excited by it all. It was rediculous....he could admit that....but they could mess about for a while. It was fine. She'd been teasing him about it anyway, so it was even more entertaining than if he'd just come up with the idea. Of course, he probably wouldn't have come up with the idea otherwise....but still. Mari looked back at him after she set the plates down, and gently ran her hands around his arms. Though, when she saw his outfit she couldn't help but laugh. "No, really, what do you want," she asked with a bit of a laugh before scooting away from his arms and went to sit next on the table next to the counter. She sort of watched him for a moment before standing up and circling around him, her fingers gently running along his shoulders. "I do like this outfit, you know," she chuckled.
